    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What exactly is it Jamie? And who is fanning the flames? In my opinion it is vaughn with his "innocent obtuseness".

I watched half a football game and came back to all of this crap. If it's not patently obvious to vaughn and to everyone else that my meaning was that Oz's comment about someone named Capone being a gangster (misspelled or not) might offend people with Italian surnames (and ethnic Italians in general perhaps) then I don't know what I could have done to make that clearer. A person with a name that would imply a Middle Eastern ethnicity (irrespective of Oz's religious beliefs) who lives in the US in this day and age is no doubt subject to parallel thoughts and perhaps even occasional epithets. I'm not trying to be "politically correct", rather I am encourging a bit of sensitivity which I believed Oz's post lacked. Call Joe an arrogant SOB, which he is. But racial and ethnic stuff crosses the line for me. I was reminding Oz that he is living in a big glass house in that regard because of his name (again, no matter his religious preference) and he should be careful lest someone throw the "t" word in his face.
 
I should add that I would have said the same thing to anyone who had made a similar comment about any ethnic or racial group. I waited for Oz to answer Rick's question before responding to give him a chance to explain.
 
thanks for the reply jim, i think oz's answer of a joke was all that it was, plain and simple. maybe i'm too sensitive to some subjects or how people phrase things.

the actual words just didn't set right with me "you of all people" i don't think oz or anyone else with a different name,religion or race should be more aware or more careful with their words than anyone else should.

maybe i'm reading more into to it than it is? oh well back to the topic. i'm out.

Names can't be much good or ol osama bin ozzy would have been ridiculed out long ago and poor jamie, well, if gloria allred finds out he's using a girls name, he'll be in trouble, but not for the way he looks and while he has his moments of questionable inclusion in the more intelligent of posters here, he is usually right in there with the better-getting-across-their-pointers.

I'm not sure I'll be up to differentiating, so I'll probably just have to keep treating all the scumbags like scumbags and everyone else like the fine faithful faunites that they are.

Joking or not, there is absolutely NOTHING funny about even insinuating someone could be a suicide bomber....especially in this day and age.

Oz called Joe a gangster which was wrong. He said it was a "joke" and you
forgave him. I made reference to Oz's name and I pointed out that I made a joke. about his post.....relax my friend. I need not to do any back peddling at all. You read into it what you wish.

It is the middle man that wants to pick up his tock at Ian and charge you less that I am charging the public. Then you try to mark it up double but can't with MKR in the picture. Yoyu re destroying yourself with your high prices and non justifications. Don't you understand that you have to have integrity Mr. 4900 caramel. It looks starved to me. Has it eaten for you. You wouldn't know becasue you con't want to pend the money to feed your snakes taht you are turning over. Yeah I understan Ed you want to keep the costs down. You see people we breed our own rats and still pay 1700 a week in rats just to stuff your sankes on payment plans. Noone gets thin snakes. We gt them cranking for you period. People when snakes pass hands you pay for it and with this guy there is 2 or 3 hands they are passing through. Deal with the breeders. Joe, I'm getting tired of your middleman crap. You don't think you sell to middlemen? In every line of a manufactured goods there are manufacturers and distributors and retailers. This is how free enterprise works Joe.

While you're at it you can lay off the "I am doing this for the customer" crap too. You're doing it to make a buck, period. I have no problem with that, but quit with the car salesman talk.

So, there should be no middlemen, right? In other words, no one should make money off of BPs but one centralized monopoly, but you want to sell them to people to fulfill their "breeding dreams."
Way to insult potential customers!! I know where I will be spending my money, and where I will not.
