    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A deal gone wrong with Mike Plank at, B.G.R.

You brag about being all about the customers but obviously as Jas pointed out you don't give a damn about your past customers or the fact that your current customers might want to breed their new animals and start a business of their own. You are in this solely for yourself and as long as you are making money you don't give a damn about your customers. Do you tell your customers that they shouldn't bother expecting to breed and sell their snakes since you will undercut them by more than half? Personally I would never do business with you but then I stick with people I trust, and yes I will pay a bit more to deal with someone I respect and someone with business ethics. Your customers will find out later their mistakes I'm guessing, and I can't see why anyone would be willing to sell you anything, after all you just want to mass produce and cash out.

As for you getting ripped off, I wouldn't wish it on anyone and do hope you get your money back or the animals that you ordered.

It was a little funny in a "sick" way. joe capone managed to insult just about every large breeder at the show?? (unbeknownst to him, he likes to talk behind other peoples backs obviously)The man is like a plague to the hobby/biz.
I heard 1 lg. breeder (BHB)say that he may follow the market down, but he would never lead it down just because he cares about his past customers. These are the kind of people we need to support with our purchases, not joe capone and his destructive agenda.
 
I don't think Joe really cares much for what his customers plans or intentions are for the animals that are purchased. If his competitiveness has been perceived by his customers as bad treatment and poor customer service I'm sure an equal argument could be raised by Joe that they did not express their intentions for the animal they purchased. If you're buying from Joe in the hopes to surpass what he produces and beat his prices you just may be let down. Remembering that wonderful video I briefly viewed...I seem to recall him mentioning that his pricing is planned to be hobbyist friendly. Several times as matter of fact. No where does he mention that he is for the hobbyist with big breeding plans to give MKR a run for its money somewhere down the road.

If MKR has dissatisfied customers perhaps its just a matter of them not expressing their intentions for the purchase.

Good points Chuck especially in you post before the last one lol. Yeah every business helps its competition compete against it, right?? Not, no way no how. Joe comes off as a major ass no doubt about it but this still smells of lots of people upset because they are not going to get rich off of snakes like they dreamed they were. Get a grip folks most of you don't come off much better than Joe has here. The recent MKR threads remind me of some of the Gecko threads we've seen here this past year. How many of you whining here looked at those threads and said dang Gecko folks(no offense intended Gecko owners) need to get a grip? well look in a mirror.Randy

i don't think that's the case at all... i myself started out in corns years ago, and then gradually started getting into boas, and then balls... i have aquired blood boas, albinos, sunglows, motley's, sunset crosses, etc. etc. as well as ammassing quite a nice ball collection. however i DO NOT have the money that some do to spend on their collection, i do have a nice one. my money goes to college degrees and knowledge gained (5 so far as i graduate (fingers crossed) in 2 months) and will take the CPA exam. why don't i have a job yet? can't make up my mind what i wanna be when i grow up :0) .........

sorry, but there is not "ONE" cool factor that i can recall to being the leading ball morph producer, and even if their was, joe certainly would NOT be the single one person to light the minora...
I don't think you have alot of "poor" people here wishing they could afford his items, but a bunch of mediocre people that are sick of "Joe Christ the Super Star's" claims of being able to put everyone out of business. Is he next going to walk on water, and turn "said" water into wine? if he is/can then i'll gladly take back my statements, you aren't going to accuse me of nailing the messiah to a plank of wood, only his ego...

wanted to point out that this response was not in part to David Reid, as i know you don't support his antics... that was a generalization of some of the other guys that ride his wagon wheel (steve)... i should have pointed that out, as it sounded like i directed that towards you... sorry bout' how someone might misread that! too many beers+not enough sleep= bumbling fool.

Actually that may not be entirely correct. Inanimate objects, such as a business like MKR, would often be referred to as female in gender. Its a hold over from the English in which all nouns had its own gender.

I know its kind of confusing because you have Mother Russia but yet you have Germany...The Fatherland. But lets just consider Germany an anomaly. ;)
