    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

The Tampa P.D. just phoned......they said your ego is so huge that it is beginning to actually devour smaller cities and even eating into threads like these.

The BOI is for exactly this kind of post. You take what you read with a grain of salt and do your own research.....but this is a good place to start and threads like this are helpful.

 You might want to stick to threads for which you are hired before your credibility becomes tarnished,  (even more than it is by arguing a clients case in a public forum LOL), and you really look foolish by throwing dime store lawyer quotes at threads about which you have no knowledge.

Slow that Perry Mason roll a bit and do some searches on the people on that list before you bash people for putting them there.

Even with all the mud-slinging and accusations on the other thread, I don't think it PROVES that the two are CON ARTISTS. It may be damaging to their character, but it doesn't prove with any credibility that someone has lost out.  In the end (if that ever comes&#33<img src="http://www.faunaclassifieds.com/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/wink.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=';)'>, what will you say?  If Dave was telling the truth about Neil breaking in to his own store, how does that make him a PROVEN CON ARTIST.  If Neil didn't do it, does overreacting to a supposed friend accusing him of his own break-in make Neil a PROVEN CON ARTIST?  I don't think so.  Now, if in the end of this mess, we find that either of the two did commit the crime, then it will be appropriate to post their names on this thread.  Until then, no.
 
Oh no! I just found out that the esteemed (cough, cough) Dave Lawson does not want people to do business with me. Well, since I am currently a graduate student who owns the 'massive and valuable' collection of 4 normal corn snakes (none of which are for sale, incidentally), I am pretty sure that I'll survive the hit to my pocketbook.

Unless someone is a PROVEN CON ARTIST, please do not bring their name up in this thread.  This thread is to act as a thumbnail list for those who have earned negative feedback from many.  When I posted this thread originally, I did not intend for it to be used in the manner it has since the posting of Neil and Dave's names.
I have wanted to modify my original post to include links to the threads proving guilt and I may just write the Webslave and ask him to delete this entire thread and I'll just start a new one with a set of rules that allows no room for personal interpretation.  The original purpose of this thread was so that someone who needs to make a quick decision of whether to buy or not or needs a bit of info at a glance and doesn't want to wade through the crap in each thread can have the most important info at their fingertips (so to speak).  There are so many of the other threads in this forum that are full of B.S. postings like the last page and a half of this thread that it's just ridiculous.

Yeah, Tom and Ritchie, it was my client's name on here that drew me, but sometimes I just like to speak for myself.  Last time I checked there was no rule against lawyers posting. Besides, I bought a bogus "female" tricolor at a show once.  Makes me eligible.

The BOI is a great idea, and I think it is terrific that Rich Z provides this public service.  It just isn't very useful to start a thread claiming to be a source of "proven" anything, and just start posting anyone's name without explanation or justification.  Like Dave said, we may as well add Gino to the list, don't have to say why, so why not?
Are any of you old enough to remember the "slam book" fad among junior-high school girls?  They wrote stuff like, "Neil and Dave have cooties."
Tell us who you are, a competitor? dissatisfied customer? why name somebody here? give us useful info.
Outa here, I know a thread that is lots more fun.
 
Tim, you and I are probably reading off the same page.  There is lots of good info on the BOI backed up with stuff like "I am Y and I did business with X and X sent a banded watersnake instead of the albino mamba I paid for." Just hate to have that useless static overwhelming the good information on the BOI. Wading through the BS makes the BOI less useful and user-friendly.  Thanks for your time, too.
 
The problem with a thread like this is that everyone will have their own ideas about what constitutes 'PROOF'.  And nearly everyone else will disagree.  How many is 'many'?  Whom gets to be part of that number?  What exactly defines 'negative' and from whose side of the argument?

First you will need to define the all of thos words', and then make sure that everyone agrees with your definitions.  Folly, at best.

I think it is best to maintain the format of the BOI, and have each person or business reside in their own thread(s), with attendant discussions.  Anyone interested in a person of business should be able to read the whole story as posted by all contributors and make up their own minds.  That way this will remain a Board of Inquiry, and not an informal Black List based on an absent or ill defined set of criteria.

You can all either allow this ill-conceived thread to float down and off of the radar screen by just not posting messages on it, or I can close it and force that to happen.  The next couple of messages posted here (or lack thereof) will guide me as to what I should do.  I am not inclined to delete it without a better reason to do so, but I don't think we need another firestorm starting up in here.

I think it's a great idea. Just impossible to police and too many "grey" areas. Probably should delete this. IMHO.
 
Just being a bad idea is not sufficient grounds for me to delete an entire thread.  So the best thing to do at this point is to just lock down the thread and let it sink to the bottom of the pile.

I almost hate to admit that I agree somewhat with the attorney on the above and on one or two other things (OUCH - did I write that for all to see........ That was difficult to type, my fingers hurt)

I will only ad: Rich Z may be right to turn this one off - lots of fun reading but hard to keep to its purpose and little more than mudslinging in lots of cases. Bye....

Sheesh, whom resurrected this thread from the dead? Might as well lock it down and let it sink to the bottom.

Looks like when I did the system conversion a while back something got botched up and it shows me as being the one whom started this thread.
