In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just thought I'd show the progression my pastel het orange ghosts have gone through since I got them last year. Let me know what you guys think, I don't know what line of pastel they are but I was wondering if anyone on here could give me an educated guess as to whether or not you think they will brown out real bad. I know all pastels brown out to a degree, I just don't know what to look for. First up is my female. The first pic is from the breeder, then the second is when I got her, and the last two are from the past two weeks.

Here's the male. Same thing, first pic from breeder, second when I first got him, and last two recent.

For as much color as they still have, I'd say you'll be ok. I'm extremely picky when I look for pastels to add to my breeding colony. A really good breeder once gave me a tip on picking out babies. She told me to be wary of much orange, as it tends to turn brown. And the more blushing the better--not limited to, but definitely including the head.

Are you going for super pastel ghosts? Or do you have other plans? Best of luck with whichever route you take!!

Thanks everyone! I really like how they have turn out so far too. I just know everyone here has a little more experience with pastels than I do so just wanted to ask. I have a few adult het ghost right now that I hope to throw the male too so maybe I'll get a pastel ghost male and I could throw him to female to have better odds on the super. I guess only time will tell.
