In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

A prayer please............

Just got a phone call that my mother has had another heart attack. This makes 3 since May 2004. The first had her on life support for 89 days ( 6 way bypass) and in a nursing home for 4 months. She got out of the nursing home in Jan 2005 to start her life over from scratch. Last Wed she had a minor attack that had her in the hospital for 2 days. Today she had a massive attack and at this moment is in a med induced coma.

I ask that you pray for her recovery. (She is only 48) I am the oldest of 5 kids. Ages 26, 20, 17, 16 and 12 so she would be leaving a lot behind.

Mike, be certain that you and your mother and the rest of your family are all in my prayers. Hang in there my friend.

I am sincere in my wishes for your mother's speedy and complete recovery. I'll be sending positive thoughts her way, yours too.

My sincerest best wishes to you and your mom, Mike. You both will be in my prayers.

Mike, I will keep you and all of your family in my thoughts and prayers. Please keep us updated on your mom's health whenever you have the chance....

*hugs*

At 2pm Est this afternoon she will going in for another surgery. Apparently she has a blocked stint due to a large bloodclot. She is once again on a feeding tube and they have intibated her for the surgery. They have also informed me that empasema she has had, has progressed and has badly damaged her lungs. Shortly following the surgery to unblock the stint they plan on doing a bronchoscopy to clean out her lungs.

Other than that I really don't know much as I am relying on information from my 20 yr old brother and the nurses at this point know nothing more than what is planned. I have asked that the surgeon call me as soon as they are done. So I guess I just have to sit and wait.

Sorry for my rudeness everyone. THANK YOU for your thoughts and prayers. I meant to put a big thank you in my last post but forgot. Not quite thinking 100% today.

Wanted to let everyone know she made it through surgery with no complications. She is still in a med induced coma but her doctors are planning to wake her up on Monday. Machines are breathing for her at the moment because the brochoscopy is a very hard procedure on ones lungs. We shall see if she can breathe on her own come Monday evening. I will let everyone know what happens.

Thank you!!!

Mike, I hope all goes well. Please know that we have you and your family in our thoughts and prayers.

Thanks Wendy,

I hope all goes well too. Just worried if her lungs will be strong enough to get of the respirator.

We're still keeping you all in our thoughts here Mike.....so glad things have progressed well..... :)

I'm sorry I missed this...

I am glad your mother seems to be doing well and has come through the surgery as well. I will make it a point to check here Monday to hear how she is then. Until then know your family, especially her, is on my prayer list.

I am praying for your Mother's full and speedy recovery, and for your family's courage and strength to help each other through this. God Bless...
