    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

A proposal and query concerning a moderator here.

Do we finally need a moderator in this forum and/or chat room?

Hmmm...I have an idea...

Have webslave to it the democratic way. Post a poll with everyone with a minimum of six months on fauna and a minimum of 100 posts allowed to vote on who they think should be the moderator.
Just figured I would throw in an idea.

The constitution is there for everyones favor. You utilize your rights provided to you under it every single minute.

As for you Chad, you need to do some homework on politics. You need to find out who stands for what before you go put a vote down on a person or party without knowing what it stands for. You obviously don't know. Call me if you want to learn something.

Read the whole thread and you will see when this came in to play, Chad made referrence to the effect of that because he is not a liberal that he shouldn't have to hear (read) tasteless jokes..

Gregg, I am sorry I forgot that liberals don't seem to like being called liberals since it has been deemed as a negative connotation... progressive then? As to your point about protecting your kid(s) from seeing and hearing things that you don't want them too, isn't that your job and duty as the parent to decide what is right or wrong for yourself? I do not care if this is your opinion as I am merely stand up for protecting the right for free speech. So the joke was placed at the wrong place, wrong time, wrong crowd... who's to say 4 out of 5 people in the room wouldn't have liked it? As to looking worse.... yanno what? I don't care! I will continue to stand up for what I believe is right, if you can't respect that, thats your issue.

I am all for a good joke, even if it is off color, but it should not be thrown up into peoples faces that would rather not see or hear it..... I am sure there are a ton of forums on the internet where people can tell all the black, hispanic, and polish jokes they want..... A reptile chat is not the place for that......

I see this thread heading to hell. It starts off as a simple poll and people have blown it up into politics...ugh politics...How about every just settle their differences and agree to disagree...Yes the joke shouldn't have been said and yes it may have offended someone, but its over now and theres nothing that can be done about it. This thread is about need of a moderator, not knowing whos liberal whos conservative, censoring children, or anything like that. I know the joke should not have been said, but its too late to argue over it now...From now on lets just put whether or not this leopard gecko forum needs a moderator and the reasons for such. How about we leave politics out.
