    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This is one that I was introduced to when Matt and I got married. It was something his mother made for him growing up, and has gotten into my house. It was actually what the kids made for us for dinner last night for our anniversary!

Ingredients:
Cooked ham slices (pre-packaged or from the deli)
Uncooked ground beef (80/20 works best)
Fruit cocktail (undrained, I like to use the light syrup kind)
Can of frozen orange juice

Set the oven on 375, preheat while preparing.

Take a small roll of the ground beef, and roll it up into a ham slice. Make as many as you want, you can even secure them with toothpicks, but this is not necessary. Place them in a glass baking pan.

Pour fruit cocktail and juice over the ham slices.

Make the can of OJ, pour on top of ham slices.

Cook until ground beef is done, about 30-45 minutes.

Serve with potatoes, and you have a well-rounded, cheap, easy dinner!

Happy Anniversary to the Kordek's!!!

And thank you for another great recipe! The wife is allergic to peaches, which is in fruit cocktail, so I'm going to try a variation using pineapple chunks. I'll let you know how it turns out. Sounds like my kids will love this for sure because of the sweetness.
