    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

That is 100% the reason that he sent the phone books. When you pursue action against him he will use the airbill from the carrier as "proof" that he shipped you the product. It will make it much harder to prove your case against him. Evan Stahl
 
save EVERYTHING that came in that box. Dont throw away any newspaper or styrofoam he might have used in packaging.

that way the shipping weight that is on the box will match whats in the box.

Furthermore if you dont live anywhere near Hollywood Fl. then why would you have the phone books and newspaper from Hollywood Fl.

This all sounds a little fishy to me... this sounds like it may possibly be the rebirth surprise re-visit of the famous "Joshua Myers" out of Philladelphia who sold 6 people the same invisible 6' long female '97 'Sharp strain' Albino for $1,800 each and even took one other guy for $4,400..that's over $15,000 that we know of!!!
He was great at customer service when making the deals and requesting money, then as soon as he got the $ he disappeared. This incident was posted several times with almost NO viewings from the anyone, especially the usual guys who are always commenting on these kind of posts......makes you think...  

Anyway, so you know, the FBI was contacted as well as the Philly Police with NO results in more than a month! It only gets worse these days with the scum out there...
When calling the police about this, they actually put me down, mocked my for the entire deal, tried to bring up the legality of herp trade and clearly told me this was far from a priority to them!!!
Well it seems like you have to do things yourself these...you get further that way. Some of the guys that lost a bit of $ are willing to offer a much larger sum simply as a reward to catch these punks because that's how much they're disgusted by it!
Enough is enough...we have to come together, network, inform and warn eachother about these guys so that can't do it again, to ANYONE!!!
I know we have BOI's and the such and even though these incidents aren't happening as frequently as before, they're on a much larger scale! It used to be a couple hundred dollars being lost or an unfair trade...now it's high end animals being 'made up' and sold to scam for thousands!!!
Makes you not want to use the net anymore!!!
 
This is Justin Higgs of ECTOTHERMZ... out of California. Earlier this month as Jason was quickly trying to sell off his dbl hets. I purchased a female dbl. Het snow from him. I have been really busy and haven't got a chance to check the forms like I should. I didn't even begin to think that something of this caliber was happining. I'm now not 100% uneasy about this purchase. I got my snake but the weird thing about it is that... I told him that when he got the money contact me and to make arraingments for shipping because it is hot in California. He just shipped the snake without notifying me at all. He emailed me a tracking # and that was the last I heard from him. I e-mailed him back the same day and told him that I was a little angry as the snake would be at risk. He never returned my e-mail. The snake showed up late and was almost dead. It was a female and I nursed her back to health quickly. When I talk to him via e-mail I stated that I would like a well written copy of the genetics for my records. When I got the package, in which he sent me a torn in half yellow piece of lined paper that said and I quote, " I fully guarantee all genetics on this snake." with his signature. Not quite what I call a full explanation of genetics! Seeing this shocks and angers me!!! I hope we catch this scum! It is a sad situation for us all! I actually have purchased a yearling dbl het snow male from griff who might I add was outstanding! This was to eventually be his mate, but now I'm kicking myself. All of my other transactions on high end snakes have been through well known breeders. This was just a good deal but if it's to good to be true then it probably is! Lesson learned....Let's get this sucker
