    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

From The Washington Institute

The United States has not directly given new taxpayer money to Iran. Rather, previous U.S. administrations have unfrozen Iranian funds or paid out historic legal settlements.

The primary instances of funds involving Iran include: The 1979 Settlement ($1.7 Billion): The Obama administration authorized a $1.7 billion payment to settle a decades-old financial dispute regarding an arms deal from before the 1979 Iranian Revolution. This included a $400 million principal plus $1.3 billion in compromised interest, and was paid out in cash in foreign currencies.

The 2023 Hostage Deal ($6 Billion): The Biden administration allowed the transfer of $6 billion in previously frozen Iranian oil revenue from South Korea to restricted accounts in Qatar. This money—which was tied up due to U.S. sanctions—was designated for strictly humanitarian purchases like food and medicine, and was frozen again following the October 2023 attacks.

Sanctions Relief: Throughout 2023, the U.S. also waived certain sanctions to allow the transfer of additional restricted funds (e.g., $10 billion of Iranian assets previously held in Iraq) to be used for humanitarian purposes.

American tax dollars were not used. If Trump releases more this year then the Trump faithful will concur. It is only if Biden or Obama that does it then it is evil.

Anyone who gives money to Iran under any circumstances is just nuts. Only an idiot would not realize that they will use the money to strengthen their military. Regardless of what they agree to beforehand.
