    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    Addendum: 01/10/2026
    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I am trying to raise my own rats for feeders to help cut a good chunk of my food bill for my snakes. I have 1 pair and 3 trios of rats seperated as such. I have only one female that has had any babies and all the others 3 months old. I use to raise rats several years ago but decided to get out reptiles till the wife got me back into them. I had no problem raising them then had so many I had to freeze rats on a weekly basis. Now I can't get my rats to breed at all. I cleans cages ones every 2 weeks and give fresh water every other day and they always have food and its not the cheap stuff either its $15 for 5lbs. I'm at a total loss of ideas on what else I can do. They are beyond the minimum size for breeding since all the rats are mostly large or a very big medium. If you have any ideas on what I could do plz tell me I'd appreciate the help

Time will be your best help. Give them a chance to get into a good rhythm. I had my first ones for a few months before I had anything happen, then you have the three weeks of pregnancy. It just takes time.

Ok just wanted to make sure I was doing everthing right. Was pretty sure I was just wasn't seeing any results and thought maybe I had changed something somewhere or wasn't do something right. Thank you for your I appreciate it
