In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I bought a 1400 gram albino and just weighed it (empty weight since it won't eat for me).
It actually weighs 1238 grams (crap scale that I need to adjust for by 50 grams).
Do you think this is an acceptable difference in weight from what the ad stated?

My opinion is at this size, the weight difference is nothing to worry about but I would like to see what others had to say.

Do you still have the Ad? maybe that was full/half full(poo in his buns). if he said it was 1400 empty, and he weighs 1238, i would say its not.

granted, it really is up to you, the cost of such a male wouldn't alter to much from 1200-1400g would it?

(sorry to jinx you some MORE with the albinos). how long have you had him and could he have lost 100 or so grams in that time frame?

Well he did deficate but it wasn't a 168 gram crap.

He hasn't been here long enough. Only 3 weeks.

If he finally eats this weekend, I'll be really happy.
Now DON'T jinx me!

I think some people may " round up " or exaggerate a little when it comes to the weight. But that tends to strike me as odd when someone would exaggerate a males weight, a females I could understand. ( understand, not condone )

i wont jinx you! im pullin for you Steve!

i wouldn't be too concerned myself considering it's a large male. if it was a 300g you bought and it came out to be 150g, that would be different. i've had a couple that've lost around that much before in a time frame like you're describing from defecation and urinating. they were bigger albinos. when my albinos don't want to eat for me... i wait about 10 days and offer them a live mouse and leave them alone for a bit. it's worked for me every time and then they'll eat a rat afterwards. that's just my experience with albinos, though. try it. from reading your trials and tribulations with albinos, i don't think anything would hurt. :)

Health is the Most Important Thing in that Transaction but it does seem maybe a LIL overstatement! In the Wieght of the specimen(Must sell cars for a Livin)

Put that fella in solitary confinement. I know with the 3 albino's that I have dealt with, the more they are handled, the less they will eat.

I'm not too concerned about the small difference.

Now, if he refuses food for another few months and was a bit smaller thna stated......then I will be ticked BUT.....if he eats, a rat or 2 would make up the difference (and I would be really happy to finally have an albino that eats for me after about 5 years of trying with them).

Well i hope he starts eating for ya and gains the weight back, i know that when i put up some ads i state a guesstimated weight (cuz i am lazy sometimes and dont want to dig out the scale) but i always get an exact weight if someone asks for it. Either way i hope this one works out for ya.
