What I want is for him to pay the private investigator he hired, the bill that is due.  Seeing what was actually collected for this endeavor, he would be getting off lightly just by doing that.  I am willing to cut my losses and tie up this loose end if that takes place.  Other than that, I can't think of anything civil to say to that man.

 ok we all know by now that James made off with enough of our hard earned money to take a Disney Cruise with. And that it looks like the slack S.O.B has no intentions of making ANYTHING right . Ok so heres a thought , we all know that James was in control of the raising the funds, we all know that he stole our money for Neils cause, We also know that everything could be traced back to him in the state of Texas VIA IPS address of who and where our funds went.Now Knowing all this what would it take for the 45-50 odd some people to file a lawsuit on this scumbag for doing this ?

Now James old boy when you read this as we all know you do and probably just laugh about what you did to everyone. How would you have felt "If your daughter was to really have problems more then having a peice of SH*T for a father" and needed help .... people like you should have no right to live in a world like the rest of us live in .  But since we all know you have NO intentions of making right  what you did  all i can say is i hope like HELL that one day ( and hopefully soon) that you could have something horrible happen to you to payback what you have done to everyone here that trusted you for what you did ??

Heck Neil, if I thought I could win a judgement against him, I would have done it long ago.  But I have no PROOF against him of damages from his actions.  Except perhaps the money I donated to the PI.  There was no contract with him concerning hosting my site, nor any written agreement about payment or money owed.  I would have nothing to present to a court other than my word against his.  Personally, I doubt he would 'fess up to the judge.

This was a cheap, low blow that he pulled on all of us, and he probably knows darn right well that such things are way below the radar screen of the law.  If you keep your crimes penny ante, the cops just aren't going to do a thing about it.

Even by adding up the money he took from the contributors, the money he owed me as a percentage from advertisers, and the money he owed Danni for all the work he did, that still wouldn't add up to enough to get the law interested.  I don't like it, but that's what I've seen with all my attempts to get the law to help me when I needed them.

If you have an angle, then I'm all ears, but I think the only thing I can do is make darn sure that if James Thornton ever has any intentions of getting back into the herp business, to make sure everyone knows whom they are dealing with.

This is a serious matter and it should be taken care while the trail is still warm. I am interviewing Detectives today and will post my decision and estimated expenses today.

and with the $1500+ that this son of a bleep stole from each one of us  plus anything you can come up with im sure a court would here it .. i mean they do hear cases for a LOT less  i mean if a check is stolen in the mail .. thats mail fraud if its only $1.00...

Neil if you cont want to make the calls , well i will tell ya  i will make the calls  theres TONS of lawyers here where i live  that would more then likely take a good look at the facts on this case . i will try to contact you both tuesday aboutthis  to see what i can find out to get started on it  i mean in his posts he states what hes planning on doing and with the info he gave out im sure theres also a lil trial to follow the peice of #### down  he gave out his buisness name " progressive ideas  so im sure that bank records and transaction of all that was done could be used in a class action law suit no to mention the fact that what he did is no worse then someone coming to your door asking to donate $$$ to a fund then stealing it ?  well ill keep a close eye on this post and will contact both you and neil & rich  on what ya wanna do .  and didnt james even post on thisthread that he would make it right ? and some BS story ?well its 4 am so i am goin to bed now ill get w/ you both soon
