    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Aside from my attempt at "Fowl" humor from above, I personally think people are missing something here. About 25 posts back Matt agreed to take Adam up on his offer and give him until Monday to make good on his latest proposal, which Adam agreed to, the remaining posts beating up on Adam aren't really serving much purpose.

The principle parties involved here have come to an agreement, maybe it's time to put away the torches and pitchforks until after Monday and see how things play out. I'm sure Matt will update this thread with how things go.

The BOI has shown once again to be effective, however this thread is heading past effective and moving towards self serving entertainment for the masses, there are a couple newer threads down below that have no resolutions in sight, what say we move the party to one of those?

Derek happens to be a nice guy in these parts Adam. If you were in trouble Derek seems the kind of guy that would come to your aid. So what do you do because he's of no use or aid to you now? You call him names. I'll bet in spite of that name calling he'd still help you if he thought you were ever in the right.

I think someone said earlier that you lost their business. Make that two people who wouldnt consider doing business with you.

I think thats fine. And it really shouldn't matter what anyone else thinks but you. It your company remember. We only advised you of what we would do in similar situation irregardless of our policies. Sorry that what you would like to have heard you didn't hear. If you're running into so much of the same advise its because great minds think alike.

And for the record...everyone knows I'm the 7th grade high school girl around here. And its catholic school so I get off for the holy holidays. ;)

People that have a well earned and deserved reputation in this board can post their opinions without a problem, and Joe happens to be one of them. On the other hand, when someone stubbornly decides to be antagonistic with everyone else, he should expect to receive some criticism. Particularly when he openly states he has the money but wants to postpone the reimbursement, because of his TOS. This position seem more some sort of a “vendetta” over a failed transaction that he himself delayed needlessly in the first place.

Thank you, to those who have called today and let me know that you feel I have done the right thing and that you understand the situation. It is extremely hard to explain the situation and let everyone know the reason I was holding out, over the computer. Sometimes typing over the computer is hard to express things correctly.

I do appriciate the response and thank you once again for keeping your faith in me. And my credit stands to all who keep the faith and do business with me in the future. You guys have made my business what it is and I will always take care of you.

To those who still have that sour taste, I do appologize and hope you can look deeper and realize that our company has not grown to its size over the years from transactions like this one. Regardless what people may say or think, we have a huge collection of high end ball and boas, and have only gotten to that point from GOOD business. A a good customer base that has been there for us over the years.

Most of all I appologize to Matt for letting this get out of control. What ever I may have said or done wrong, I do appologize. When you have your money on Monday, please let the board know you have recieved it.

You really don't have a clue do you? People think you are in a bind financially because ACT like someone who is in a financial bind. You keep giving more and more excuses as to why you can't send the refund and then put it off for 5 more days. Trying to make it as if it's the buyer's fault, etc. Oh and BTW people who have to talk big about their life, finances, businesses, etc. usually are the ones who are doing poorly, i.e. their business and finances are in the crapper.

Please, post the pic of the cash on the table. I know everyone would love to see it.

Adam is refunding the money Monday. Matt is fine with that. Unless the refund doesn't come thru, there is really not much more to add of any substance.

It looks like they have finally settled so let's see what happens.

If the refund comes Monday than that is good. If not, then jump all over Adam but I think he really will send the refund as stated come Monday.

Let's all just take a breath and see what happens Monday.

Matt, keep us updated.

Continued sniping from both sides is doing nothing but picking at an open wound. A solution that should be acceptable to all involved has been offerred.

This thread needs to go on hiatus until Monday evening.

The EXTRA $500. in cash offer has already been made to Matt....

If they would have told me to to make it an extra grand I would have done it.
So please see how I am tring to make good. And try to stop bashing me for a minute and wait until he gets paid.....

I think it is commendable that you are refunding his money on Monday instead of waiting up to a possible 30 days like stated earlier in this thread. I don't know why you are waiting until Monday but really it's none of our business why you chose Monday. I may not agree with everything you or Matt chose to do but I am glad to see that this may be coming to an end.

Matt,

Your patience is impressive. Hopefully come next week you will be paid back in full and be able to move on from this. Please let us all know what happens come next week.

I talked to Matt about two weeks ago on this subject and he relayed his frustration to me.......I think Matt should have posted this then but what do I know?

5 days is too long.......It's called a pattern. I sincerely hope Adam says what he is going to do(including the $500 extra) but why should Matt have to wait til Monday if Adam has 10K on his kitchen table??

Nobody has to answer this.......I know posting this isn't doing any good. I am just curious..... :shrug01:

Very well stated...it is diplomacy like this that will keep you from being the target...this attitude completely diffuses situations...instead of allowing them to get blown out of proportion (as I feel this one did).

Looking forward to hearing you kept your word...I believe you can still drag yourself out of the stewpot on this one...although that boiling water must have burnt your toes!!

As I said before...it is not the mistakes we make...it is how we handle them that makes us what we are...

MATT CRABE has been refunded his money in full

We just wanted to give an update on the situation involving Matt Crabe.

We stated that he would receive a full refund on Monday 10-24-05.

Well we spoke to Matt this morning and a check was sent out for $2,600. Just like we said we would do. I will be taking a photo of the check for those who would like to actually see a picture of it.

Hopefully Matt will let the board know that he has gotten his money back.
