In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

bp adoption

:) I can help you with your need for the bp I own a reptile educational facility in TN and we are very experienced with sick herps as we get many in every week we have a vet on hand 24/7 that is specialized in reptiles also and we would gladly take the snake off of your hands and medicate it to health so can you tell me how big it is and also tell me anything else i may need to know is it nippy or docile and tame and also it would require shipping but do not worry i have a fullproff way of shipping sick herps were it does no danger to them and we will also pay for the shipping so please contact me so we can make arrangements there is no better home for your snake but with us.

I dont want to ship this snake..

Its about 4 foot long doesnt bite never even though of biteing..
Snakes always been friendly

Like i said im looking to put it in a better home w/ someone who can take care of its RI

BP

I will gladly take your snake and give him a very loving home but I need to know where you are located at to see if I can pick up and if not you can ship UPS and bill to my account as I already said I have a fullproof way of shipping sick reptiles and the temps here are in the 60s so it is not cold at all I am in TN people are already wearing shorts it has gotten so warm but anyway the way of shipping is to of course use the styrofoam insulated box then take 2 heat packs place them on bottom of the box then place the snake on top of them in a snake bag and then pack with newspaper to provide cushioning and finally place 2 more heat packs on top of snake for extra warmth and this will absolutely keep him safe and warm. The only reason I really want to acquire this snake is because we can offer everything that this guy will ever need we have a 24/7 vet on hand and we do not use cages ever our smallest enclosure is a 10ft*20ft walk in enclosure so we are fully set up to provide the best care for reptiles in the country we take in many reptiles by mail and never have had a problem so please trust us and give us the opp. to give this guy a very loving home with lots of TLC.

Full of BS

Jeremy your posts are full of so much BS i don't know were to start, i hope I'm wrong here but just from reading your post i can't help but laugh, if you were such concerned you wouldn't even consider putting this poor snake through more stress by shipping it, you obliviously a child making up a bunch of lies in hopes to get a free animals, come on man if you got so much concern save the $50 it would cost to ship it and go pick it up, OH is only a short 4 or 5 hours away, I'm not buying your story one bit.

I Have.....

I have a 50 ft.x 100 ft. enclosure for your 4 foot BP. LOL gimme a break. really who would put a 4 foot BP in a 10 ft. x 20 ft. enclosure.. I agree Jeremy you seem to be blowing alot of smoke. I don't understand why anyone would try to con someone out of a BP when you could go and get one at your local pet shop for what you are going to pay in shipping. I am just stating an opinion I don't know either party. I would take this animal as far as shipping I will drive to you and meet you in person so you know I am not a con... I have a steady supply of Baytril and syringes. Hell I will administer the first injection in front of you before I take the animal. I have a ton of references and years of experience with reptiles. As far as the enclosure the animal is suffering from an illness so to be frank I will house it in a 20 long or a 30 gallon(the temps and humidity can be controled better) until the infection is gone. No BS with me I assure you.

While we're at it... it has also not been 60 degrees anywhere in Tennessee for at least the last few days. Quite easily verifiable.

LOL Jeremy !!!!!!

DUDE i have to call you on this you claim the education you have can provide the BEST care in the country? smallest enclosure that you would stick a BP in with a what sounds like a BAD RI in is 10x20???? how easy is that room heated to around 90 degrees ? and with you proclaimed level of education along with the onstaff vet doesnt the vet know a room that size would surely stress out a already sick animal? and be impossible to heat to keep the snake in the proper temps?Next why would it matter if its nippy or whether it eats house hold pets for snacks? with the love of the animal and such trained people they shouldnt have a care what it is . I have to agree that 60 degrees seems a lil on the " far fetched side" and even if it was 60 for the last month the night time temps in a unheated cargo hold is lower then 10 degrees at around 25-30k ft and while i do admire your attention to keep the animal warm a sick snake exposed to just the pressures at that altitude would be no good along with 4 heat packs i would think it would be meduim well when it arrived and only need sauce on the side . If i am others are wrong please forgive us but we have seen many with the only thing in mind is getting a rescue animal and then reselling it to make a profit. To better ease our minds perhaps you could list you rehab facility so others could loo kat the facilities you have described as well as that 24/7 vet in house as im sure we would like to praise her efforst in putting forth her hard earned time to rehab the sick animals you take in on a daily basis

Jeremy Clark from Tennesse?

Is this the same jeremy clark that has ripped off a bunch of people?

Nice to see you begging for animals.

I also bet you would turn around and sell it.............or maybe pretend to trade it with someone and rip them off too.

Smells like a scammer...

This same guy is on the Mice On Ice reptile adoption board begging for reptiles and giving peopel the same line. According to the info I just found out, he even recently took in 2 very sick redtail boas from someone who was "loooking for a good home" for them and he fed them the same line of BS. He has MANY posts on that board, here is one of them:

Meanwhile, 5 days later, this snake still hasn't been placed?? Someone serious needs to speak up soon. I would take it but I'm in California.

Still need a home..

You can hear it breathing
Doesnt sound to good keeping mouth open..

I dunno what else to do i called the vet thats about a hour and half away and they dont know much about ri's in snakes.. what gives there NO vets around here that does !

I know this isn't the place for this but I know you're here right now, Misfit. I'm worried about this snake and hopefully, I can help a little.

Raise the temperature in the enclosure and try to keep the humidity down...a light on top would help with both issues. Hopefully by doing that, it will create a rise in temperature to help fight off the infection as well as dry some of that mucus out.

Also, check the snake's mouth as soon as you can. Sometimes the mucus gets caught up in the mouth, creating a sore or scab and that "mound" prevents the snake from closing his mouth all the way. If this is going on, the mouth area needs to be cleaned out thoroughly and all the scabbing and dead tissue must be removed, otherwise the necrosis will keep eating away at the good tissue. It's similar to "mouth rot" but RI induced, creating an infection in the mouth too.

To clean it out, use q-tips and hydrogen peroxide. Make sure you wipe in the direction of the teeth otherwise you'll have a heck of a cotton mess. LOL! After you get everything cleaned off, use a new q-tip to rub a very small amount of neosporin on the raw areas.

i've emailed several times saying i'd take him, and i left the name of a reptile rescue close by =0)

Me too

I would definitely take it and have it seen by a herp vet immediaetly, but I am in Mississippi. I am hoping a home is found for the snake before it is too late. :(

Please call email write http://www.arrowheadreptilerescue.org/

they will take him and have medical staff, they may even pic him up i'm not sure, but there really great and are out of cinncinati, i will pay the gas for you to drive him there LOL but for real don't wait any longer get him to them right away.

I just need someone to pickup the snake..
Im working like mad hours and cant drive all that far right now..

Ill try and call that place you listed above and see what they can do

I have a light over the cage and the snake is moved into a 10 or 20 gallon tank instead of the 55 gallon..

the snake keeps coughing this white stuff out and i keep cleaning its mouth so the snoot or whatever you wanna call it doesnt dry and make a mess.
the snake keeps its mouth shut when it can breath that way so i dont think anything bad like that is going on yet :(
