    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ads opening the app store

On mobile apple devices (my iPhone, iPad), the site is opening up the app store to the game represented on the ad.

I have had this issue with another forum recently, it seems like the advertisers of certain games put software in the ad to automatically open the app store whenever the ad is displayed on the page.

Sorry, can't help you with that. I don't use a mobile device to access the internet.
 
No - don't make him post again...that signature will come back.
(I don't know if it will seem as big and obnoxious on my desktop, but it takes up a full third of the viewing screen on my tablet.)
 
Oops - I had enlarged a picture last night trying to see some details...and for some reason things didn't revert to normal screen when I picked it up this morning. It's not taking up quite as much space, now.

I didnt think it was that big but i went ahead and shrunk it down a little bit more :thumbsup:

Not me! I just don't want people calling me while I am working out in the yard, driving my cars, walking on the beach, working in the garage, going out for dinner, etc., etc., etc......

I do have a cell phone, but it is for emergencies while on the road ONLY. Otherwise it isn't even turned on. Heck, I don't even know it's number!

I have a cell phone.
I don't give out my number often, because I don't want it to ring. Ever.
I leave it home when I remember to...the rest of the time, it is usually in my backpack - often dead, because I haven't charged it.

Useful thing, it is :ack2:
 
I rarely get in phases where I can go a day or two not answering unless its one of the kids but unfortunately running a business I have to deal with dozens of calls and emails daily. Im stuck on the phone more then id like, I need to get a secretary one of these days.


Iphones and ipads everywhere, I cant get away from them.


On a side note, or back on track, Ive noticed the ads opening quite a bit on iphone fairly often now, might be worth looking into.....
