In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have a pair of adult Ceylonese Pythons for sale. The male is pastel, the female is the bigger normal. Both are adults and ready for breeding.
I've kept them seperate for the past couple of months, but they have lived together in the past. I bought them back in the late summer 09. Was planning on keeping and breeding, but I just don't have the space or time...
Temperments are not bad, the male is very "flighty", but neither of them have ever struck at me other than at feeding time. Never hiss or act up.
Both are rat eaters, may take small rabbits, never tried, as I breed tons of rats.
Asking $2,000 for the pair. I also enjoy bartering. I'm into ball morphs, but will take almost anything in as partial or full trade. Burms, Super Tiger, name it... Maybe we can come up with a deal...
Not sure on size and weight, but I can measure if you want me to. I'm guessing 11' on the female, 9 on the male, but that's just guessing. Both eat good, never turn down a meal.
Unfortunately, shipping is not an option. I can meet on weekends around the Little Rock, or Memphis area.
And, I will be in the Memphis area for Repticon on May9th, and can deliver then.
Also have a large cage(4'x4'x4') for sale on another ad. Check it out...nice cage, cheap.

Pics are from my cel, if you need better pics, email me.
Also have lots of other snakes, feel free to ask...

To be honest, I'm not sure what breeder they came from. I got them as a trade/purchase almost a year ago...

If I recall, HighEndHerps claims to have the onto-genetic pastel Ceylonese Pythons. I discussed these with a good friend of mine who'm is a big breeder. We concluded that these snakes were not genetic, simply a lighter phase if that, then others. I'm not sure if that's where yours originated or not.

Also, Ceylonese pythons are no longer considered a subspecies, these and true Indian Pythons (molurus molurus) are the same type. Not sure if you can get into any legal ramifications claiming so and shipping them across state lines as such, but it's possible and something to think about.

They don't fall into any special law. They are not a CITES species. They are Molurus Molurus, ie Sri Lankan, or Ceylonese Pythons.
As such, yes, you can ship them across state lines.
I choose not to ship large snakes. I don't like it, it's a personal thing. Plus, I live an hour from the closest airport.

Molurus Molurus is on the CITES list.

http://www.cites.org/eng/app/appendices.shtml

Recently, the Ceylonese (Molurus Pimbura) has been changed from Molurus Pimbura to Molurus Molurus (Indian) thusly, making the Indian and Ceylonese Python the same species classically.

P. m. molurus - Indian python - Range: Pakistan, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bengal, Assam, Bhutan and Bangladesh.

Being as such, shipping them would fall into CITES guidelines.

Not everyone is aware of the classification change, even myself until recently. This is simply FYI.

Tit for tat.
Not shipping them anyway!
Geez.

For sale pair of Ceylonese Pythons to anyone except JKMIMAGES

I'm not trying to start a pointless argument with you, only stating facts for some of the less informed individuals.

Thanks for the attitude.

jkmimages: if you have anything further to discuss about these animals please utilize the pm features on the site, or discussion forum. This classified ad is not the place for this.

deff. let me know... I have a friend with a mature female which is why I want the boy ;) lol
