Hello All,
I am putting up an adult greek tortoise for sale. I am willing to sell her for $475 shipped which is way less then what I paid for her when I got her & I feel this is very reasonable considering now she is an adult. I believe her(also known as Zeus)to be a female as this is what I was told at a vet visit when we got her a little over 9 years ago & since then have ALWAYS reffered to Zeus as a female. She was sold to me as a greek tortoise but I am not sure if she is just a normal greek tortoise or is another subspecies(such as an Ibera). So any expertise in that area would be much appreciated if you know you can help me positively identify her sex as well as her species. The reason I have decided to find a new home for her is that we want her to have a home with other greek tortoises. She is very shy & we think some companionship other then human contact would be good for her. We love her & just want the best for her & right now we feel this is the best option for her. As I have stated we have had Zeus for more then 9 years & she has been loved & well taken care of since we got her. She has ALWAYS eaten well & been healthy, but I take my tortoises in every year for a health check up which she has not had yet this year so in the event you do buy her I would recommend you take her in just for her yearly check up. Just measured her & she measures about 7 & 1/2 inches. As I state in my ads that I am not able to post pictures due to me doing all my internet through my phone but I do have pictures upon request for those seriously interested in her. So for anyone seriously interested feel free to contact me either through PM on Fauna or through email with any ?'s, pictures & more information on Zeus. Thank you for your time & I hope to hear back from someone soon!!!
Sincerely,
Ashly McShaw
