Hello,
I have yet another species that almost seems to never pop up. When the mertensi are available they are usually European imports. This animal was originally imported from Europe but as you can see is already an adult and eating like a pig! It does not turn down a meal. I am not sure on the sex, but am leaning more towards male.
This animal is also completely tame and seems to enjoy interaction with people and loves to be pet and handled.
