    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

This translucent female is originally from Phantom Dragon's line. I have bred her this past season, but have yet to prove her out for her other recessive traits if she does have any other than being a translucent.

Red Quad Het x Red Trans Het Hypo
She is approximately a little over 1.5 years old.
She measures ~17inches long and weighs 290grams.
She has not nips or bite marks.
She is a little dark as you can see in the pictures below and that is due to her being stained with the egg laying substrate. She has been brumated.

She has been housed with another female this past breeding season. Right now she is housed alone. She is pretty easy to handle.

"Quad Het"?

I can only think of three recessive traits in bearded dragons-

Hypomelanistic - aka Hypo
Translucent - aka Trans
Recessive Leatherback - aka American Smoothie

Which one am I missing?
 
Hope this helps.

the Quad hets would be an italian leather(making the animal a visual het for silk back) and het for hypo, trans and recessive leather so this female is poss. het for hypo and recessive leather.

Also this dragon would not be het smoothie it would be het recessive leather(from the skelator line not the Ac line witch is where the smoothie's come from.

codominant leathers:
1)Italian leatherbacks(allessandros line)
2)American leatherback(AC reptiles line), aka: american smoothie
* both of these lines will produce silkbacks and are compatible

recessive leatherback:
1)"Skeletor" line

That last little bit is directly from josh, explaining the difference to help out
 
Finally someone has cleared that up for me, thanks.

I was under the impression "American Smoothie" referred to the recessive leather gene. Now I understand that the only recessive leather gene is the "Skeletor" line, while both the "Italian Leatherback" and "American Smoothie" lines are both co-dominate.
