Unsexed, but told by two experts that both are females.
2000 - Ornate Wood - Awesome rainbow colored shell and a very outgoing and active animal. 1/2 aquatic, 1/2 dry. Uses both equally. Eats great and raised from a baby indoors. Really fun animal, selling for a friend, but considering keeping for me as this little girl rarely stops roaming around and getting into and out of the water over and over again. $60
2005 - Honduran Wood - Dark shell with a weird mark that almost looks like actual wood...1/2 aquatic and 1/2 dry just like the Ornate above. Also raised from a baby indoors. The two woods can be housed together. Also eats great, and is very active and outgoing. Does burrow considerably more than the Ornate...but then again, the Ornate hardly ever has burrowed in my care. But, when the Honduran does burrow, it completely covers itself in Cyprus mulch and blends in 100%...but then sticks her head/neck out as far as she can directly into the air. It is something else to watch. You would never know she is even there when burrowing as she goes deep enough to not leave a hump at the ground level, but then her head is always sticking straight out. Then comes out of the mulch and goes into and out of the water...over and over again. From the water to the rocks to the water to the mulch....you get the idea. Really fun animals. $65
Buy BOTH FOR $100!!!! Limited time only.
