I have not collect any other deposits and will never accept deposits again. The imported Atheris were offered to everyone who originally order them and I still owed before I placed them on the market.

As for my contact, he sold some herps to Europe, but mostly fish prior to selling to me.

How is a exporter "YOUR CONTACT"? DID THIS MAN SELL REPTILES TO OTHER PEOPLE BEFORE YOU?

It would apear that maybe Mr. Miller has collected more deposits and again failed to get the animals, no wait he admitts to selling animals but still owes for the first round.

Jim, they owe me money and would like to take care of it. The animals died in my care due to neglect before I could get them out. Taking on too much to handle and a snake bite led to this. when they died, I had nothing to send. I tried to reorder animals for replacements and the airlines then put into effect an embargo and everything came spiraling down.

I already addressed this. I am giving "Smugglin Al" the freedom to come out and tell the truth, say I'm wrong. That his health certificates are the real deal, etc. I don't know know if Al or Joe wants their private info public or not, so why don't they post it.

Also Nora, why won't Al say I'm wrong about him lying? what about Al's Chinese shipment witht he Fea's vipers? Where did you get those Al? Was it from China like you bragged to me? Did you tell a friend how to export from there? You know they story you told me and at least 3 others. Wait, YOU never imported from China, and neither did Joe. It was Bushmaster Reptiles, and you bought the Fea's viper from a guy who bought them from Bushmaster. Man, did I mishear you? Also Al, tell me about you importing your Tanzania shipments like you claimed. Maybe you just had Joe come pick them up from Strictly and send them to you, hmmm.... I think you even have this info in a video.

What about telling Andy via you imported squams from the Congo in 2006-2007? Did this REALLY happen. Wait, I did a FOIA and I was the ONLY one to import animals from there in 2006-2007. Maybe you lied here?

Why won't he say he doesn't have fake health certificates? USFWS has opened an investigation into this shipment, maybe we'll here to results from Al in a few days.

Also, why won't Al's "friends" comment on his Youtube adventures? You let this guy moderate your venomous forum Gary? Man, you have some balls for letting "ViperKeeper" moderate the venomous forum. Even a honest person makes a mistake. Joe knew better, he should of, I talked to him about fake health certificates when they got ripped off. He should also know his animals well enough to correctly ID them for declaration, export papers, and transit permits. It's not my fault that Joe with Al's help violated the Lacey act by breaking the laws in the Congo, Belgium, and the USA. I am sorry Joe is involved with this, but laws are laws and Joe (with Al's STRONG encouragement) made a choice to break them. They let greed blind them, just like when I let greed have me take on more projects then I could handle. That didn't turn out well, before that I was a pillar of the community. Look as me know, people attack me only because I'm an easy target.

Since Joe Switalski's name was mentioned several times regarding the transaction, I feel compelled to post a comment. Joe is very meticulous about legalities and paperwork. He is honest and ethical and surrounds himself with like minded people.

I am upset, upset that it went this far. That Al threatened me when he lost money with someone else. That Al stole the info on how to import the shipments through illegal means. That he used this info to obtain another shipment. He just wasn't smart enough to learn to check everything. I already know about ANYTHING that could go wrong with these shipments, and Al screwed up because he didn't do his own homework. Karma is a bit*h. I've had my share, it's time for someone else.

Ok, first of all, I can tell you with 100% certainty that Joe or Al would not do anything illegal to obtain animals. Why is it that any thread that involves Justyn also involves 300 other posts that have nothing to do with anything.
In case everyone doesn't remember I was the one who started the fiasco on the other thread when Justyn took my deposit without producing any animals or refund for MANY months. He did finally pay back my deposit but from what I understand there are many people still owed money.
From everything I've seen and heard, Al and Joe got this shipment legitimately.
There is nothing that says two importers can't import the same animals from the same country. Hell maybe I'll import some animals too and further saturate the market. That has nothing to do with your debt to other people Justyn. If you lost everything you own, you still owe these people there money. It sounds to me like this is an attempt at getting the word out so people don't buy animals from Al and you can salvage your shipment. You need to find something more productive to do with your time. It's great that you have all this free time now, yet when I put the heat on you, you ALWAYS had an excuse as to why you couldn't get me pictures, send out money, show me documents. It's ridiculous. This is exactly why I'm selling most of my collection dropping the importing. It's just WAY too much BS.

I think you are a good guy Erik. You told the truth about our dealings, you posted your thoughts, but kept them separate. The reason these posts have nothing to do with anything is because it's Fauna, thats the gift that keeps on giving.

As for Al not involving himself in illegal business, rethink that. I talked to USFWS today, maybe they talked to Joe or Al too? They told me a few interesting things and it doesn't look like it'll end pretty for Al.

As importers we need to make sure things are done legally. Make sure species are brought in under the correct name and obtained legally. I almost brought in some Philippine Cobras last year, but last minute I didn't. Do you want to know why? Well, the exporter could not provide real paperwork form the Philippines allowing their capture. He tried selling me some "CB" babies, but the breeding stock he said he was using didn't have permits. If I brought those in, I would have been in violation of the Lacey Act. He even told me he would export them under a different name and a different name on the CITES paperwork. I'm sure you know about that situation yourself. Your honest right? I know my laws and we ALL make stupid mistakes.

This thread has nothing to do with my debt. I only owe a few people left. One day the ones I have settled up with will post online and say I've settled it, but I'm not going to ask them to, that's their choice.

Actually BW, I thought joes last name WAS Switaki or whatever it was I wrote. I have no beef with him. Maybe I was thinking of that gecko from baja, and confused the two.

You have no problem with one of your members, butterball himself, buying from justyn, profitting by that purchase from justyn, him lying to justyn about saying it was a good transaction online, getting mad at justyn for not being able to bail butterball's butt out of trouble when he dabbled in importing, the subsequent removal of justyn's ads by butterball as a way to pressure justyn into helping butterball or good ol butterball getting justyn banned from a site that he had not had any problems on prior to butterball's.

If that's not a double standard and if you're ethically ok with that, then I reckon you don't have anything else to say that I'd want to hear.

Nope, I've imported and sold since, I make frequent statements to this. I sold off most of my personal collection over the past year to help pay the bills. I no longer even have my sloths or fruit bats, my most beloved and close pets.

That is where my money goes, I have a family that I have to support, bills need to be paid. So, really, unless you sleep in your mother's garage you should understand that is takes money to survive. I have had very little additional money to pay off debts. The debts that I have paid off I've mainly traded off my own personal stock to obtain the animals the person I owed desired, for a settlement. I'm lucky in that my wife finished her master's degree and now teaches higher education, but we are still struggling to meet our monthly obligations (the pay sucks). Things are getting better though and I see the light at the end of the tunnel. If my exporter could send me one good Congo shipment to make up for the past year I think things could be taken care of much faster.

Al is the one that pays the exporters.

Joe is just Al's "yes man" in a way when it comes to bringing in the shipments.

Why do I go after Al? Because Al threatened me, because he stole my info illegally.

If he meant to say something different he seems to be intelligent enough, just barely I grant you, to have done so. So, either he is boasting again, or he flat out lied again.

Sorry Wilomn but i disagree. In post #6 Al was copied as saying "They said i have all i need in the way of permits to bring animals out of the Congo". No where did he say he himself had a permit in his name (if i missed it somewhere else in the thread then i apologize in advance).

Somewhere i read that Joe wasn't his partner that they simply did a deal together. I would think that if your going to use your license to help someone else import animals that does make you a partners. At least with regards to the shipments you assisted in. Now i don't know the laws regarding this so i might be off on that assumption.
