In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Got home from work and check the incubator. One of Galadriel's clutch had already pipped, so I felt safe cutting the others (yes, I used a hacksaw  ).

A FIVE clutch from my Albino female to het Albino male:

4 Albinos (one is a paradox) and one 100% Het Albino!

That is awesome.
I definitely want to see pics when it comes out. :yesnod:
Congrats!!!

Seriously what Theresa said...

IS IT OUT YET!?

Oh yeah... Sheesh, in my excitement for you and the pure joy of seeing something SO COOL hatch for you... i forgot to say CONGRATS!!!!

Thank you every last one of you for sharing my joy with me! :yesnod:

(I am still hoping that it's not a mass-hysteria induced by me because I was seeing spots before my eyes from the stress when I took the picture :ack2: )

Pics to come the INSTANT that they reveal themselves!! :yesnod:

No, this one is having a problem. The siblings are out and doing well. I do not expect this one to survive due to the fact that it's way overdue and the umblical cord still has not healed.

That sucks - tell it to cut the crap and come out of there, already.

If only I had that power. :( :yesnod:

On the other hand, 3 Albinos, 1 100%het Albino and one Paradox. Even if the Paradox doesn't live...I can die happy, because I hit the lottery! :yesnod: (of course I didn't get to spend the money )

There must be some way to help it alot. help the umbillical to heal...

I dont know, but is talc safe to use on snakes? is the yolk gone pretty much?

If its gone, is it adviseable to tie the umbillical off and put talc on it? Just curious, i dont want you to lose it!

Not sure at this point what to do, it's not the umblical cord that's just hanging out, it's a gap that hasn't closed. All I have been doing is keeping it in the incubator giving it time to heal and hopefully it will emerge on its own.

Personally, I wouldn't do anything but keep it on slightly damp paper towels & wait.

Exactly what's being done. :iagree: But it's in the incubator to keep the temps even. I am afraid to move it.

It was still in it's shell (with the head peeking out) last night. The gap was very noticable. Perhaps there will be improvement tonight.

When did it absorb the yolk?
In other words, how long has the umbilicus been open?

Thanks John! :) But it's too late now. She/he (I didn't bother to pop, what would be the point?) expired.

Harald it never did absorb the yolk and the umblicius has been open since 7/22.

I came home to find that it had pipped, but must have expired soon as it took breath, it was stiff and hard.

Final picture (it had a nice amount of black:
