In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I hatched out an albino het blazing blizzard last week with 2 snake eyes. The blazing blizzard father had snake eyes, but I didn't expect that trait to show up in an albino offspring. Have any of you guys had this trait show up in your albinos?

No, I have not yet. But, it's great to know it's possible. So, that's an albino (tremper, I assume) with a half black eye. Seems like it would've come out half red, but black is even more odd. Very interesting! Also, is there any crossing with aptor/raptor lines in your bb project?

Very cool Shelly...thanks for sharing!

Awww I love the snake eyes. What a cutie. I have a Snake Eyed Hypo Stripe female but she won't be breeding till next year. I can't wait to see what she produces.

Well yeah! That totally escaped me, I was to surprised over the snake eyes. That is very, very curious that they are black and not red. And yes - she is from the Tremper bloodline.

Yup - I hatched out a snake eyed Raptor last season and paired her up with the same snake eyed blazing blizzard that fathered this strange little albino. Thought that would be an interesting project.

Is she an albino striped? She sounds very interesting!

NICE!!!! I thought that that snake eyed thing was not passed down geneticly..... That looks realy cool....

Thats odd, i always thought that albinism meant that you couldn't produce and melanin. Guess i was wrong :slamit: Really neat though!

Wow! Very interesting. A lot of weird stuff is popping up from these RAPTOR/APTOR, Snake Eyed genetics. keep us posted Shelly!

That is an interesting result - and a pretty baby too! I also would have thought it would be half red. I guess this would suggest that the snake eye trait is separate from the solid eclipse/red eye effect?

I couldn't picture the snake eye thing and thought it would be kind of nasty looking. I stand corrected. That is awesome looking.

Yes they are very interesting. You will notice that the solid color part of the eye is always on the inside of the eye, nearest the nose. So when you look at them head on they look cross eyed.

The half black eye on an albino is a bit strange. If the Raptor has red eyes because it is the albino version of an Eclipse, and Alex's Mack Super Albino has solid red eyes because it is the albino version of a super snow, then why are these eyes black? Perhaps the black eyes and snake eyes that show up in the blazing blizzards is slightly different genetically then the eclipse/raptor snake eyes.

Felicia - your gecko is gorgeous!!

Here is a picture of the leos full body:

This picture belongs on a T-Shirt!!!!!!!

What color is his pupil? Red? Very strange that the solid is black and not red. We still have so much to learn with the solid/eclipse/snake eyes.

Thank you. She is pretty but I wish her attitude was too. She's a bitter, the kind that draws blood, and she's only 40+ grams. I will be hurting for sure when she's at her max weight.

I can't see the pupil, it's within the black portion. Half the eye is grey, and then there is a very distinct white bar dividing the black and the grey.

There must be something in the air to cause these strange eyes to pop up everywhere. Just for fun I looked at the eyes of my first line bred snow hatchling for this season - solid black eyes. She came from some new breeders I picked up this season that are Albey bloodlines.
