In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Native species may be owned but not sold.

It's against state law to sell natives and against state law to own /keep venomous from outside of CA.

ONLY albino Western Diamondbacks (Crotalus atrox) may be legally sold. But it does require a permit to ship.

Thanks for the info, And that's why I say local only. So I'm willing to drive up to an hour maybe 2 at most if the trade is worth it.

Who requires the permit to ship? The state? Or Delta? Because the last I heard Delta no longer requires the permit. And I've never heard of the state requiring a permit to do so.

Delta Dash requires you to be a permitted /licensed aka "known shipper" with them if you're shipping venomous reptiles. A Delta Dash employee comes to inspect your house /facility, shipping methods and /or any permits needed BEFORE you can ship venomous through them.

It's against CA law to ship venomous reptiles AT ALL without the proper state permits. At least as I was told, by CA Dept of Fish and Wildlife this last year.

Like I said, I don't think Delta requires the permit any longer. At least that's been the latest and there has been a long discussion about it on the forums of another reptile site. And the state of California doesn't require permits for native species kept. 2 per species per person per household, except albino. In which there is no limit. No native can be traded or sold, except albino. Albino species can be shipped.
