In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

USA Captive bred Aldabra Tortoise
SPECIAL: 4 inch size $1550.00
Flat Rate for shipping $100.00
We have sold 100's of baby Aldabra Tortoises over the last 30 years.
They go up in Value as they grow if kept properly.
Can be seen by appointment in North San Diego County at office location.
Lots available if desired. We shipped one from a local zoo out of LAX that was 780lbs. including the special designed shipping crate.
Preferred shipping Delta airlines airport to airport but will also ship FedEx to hub. Local pick-ups always welcome.

baby diet is changed up so they get used to many different items to eat
"Spring mix" from market ( 7 different type fine greens ) twice a week
Spineless Mexican Pear Catus leaves cut very thin like french fry shape but thinner ( twice a week )
Romaine Lettuce ( just the good green parts ( twice a week )
Mexican squash "ripe soft" ( cut into 1/4" high circles ) fed couple times a week with other items
Calcium should be added at least once a week to any of the above but works best on the spring mix or Green lettuce
All young Aldabra's are soaked at least once a week, twice is better depending on how hot you keep them
"Inside care" I keep them in rooms that are set at 81 degrees day and night and then they can also go under heated areas in their trays to adjust their own temperatures higher at will.

Bedding is clean fresh Timothy grass or Orchid grass checked to be soft and free of foreign objects that could hurt them
Their trays are completely cleaned out at least once a week or as needed.
Tortoise housing trays are at a slight slant so all liquid flows to the front for easy clean up daily.

100's of baby Aldabras raised up first year with the above method, negative issues so far; Zero
