    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

There is a contract, of sorts. Most people think of contracts as a neatly typed up piece of paper which is signed and dated. Certainly that is helpful when issues arise. But a contract can be verbal, and the particulars can be pieced together from communications said or written by the parties. There is indeed some disagreement but the basics can be gleaned from the written posts the parties made right here.

I am hoping that the parties can put aside any chest thumping, accusing, demanding, and any other unfruitful behaviors and work toward a written agreement that will be a fair outcome for both sides that detail what happens to the snakes and what monies are owed.

Alex, propose a solution that you think would be fair, considering all that happened.

Yes, my whole family is in the medical feild.
My family doesn't like reptiles lol as in of my grandma sees a stuff snake she cries.

It's the picture angles I'm guessing.
All where underweight, Not eating.
About a little over half of them had RIs and 2 with mouth rot.
Like I said ahah I'm not god man, I had no control over these deaths.
No money for 13+ snakes to take a trip to the vet, and Brian said its unnecessary to do so because of the Batryl he gave me.

Lots of emotions where running through Kelly and I when a snake would die every other day practically..

Nothing good will come out of this and him posting this thread, lying is only making it worse than it already was...

I don't trust him worth crap...

Everyone's had a past, including myself and I changed real quick after my Mom almost passed away... Couldn't be happier with who I am now which is why I'm so calm.

At this point, I'm unsure of what to do.

I would like to make a proposal then, just for you to consider please. I have no horse in this race.
I suggest that you come up with a quote for compensation for the work and aggravation you have been through plus the snakes you sent to be sold.

I suggest you consider returning the snakes you received from the OP. I also suggest that you and the OP pick a third party that you both trust to hold the snakes until you are paid.

I understand that you feel as if keeping the snakes is a just compensation, but apparently some of those snakes are part of a project the OP wishes to continue. Please just consider taking the high road, agreeing to monetary compensation, and putting this mess behind you?

Tom, your first statement about Alex's relatives is simply insulting, inflammatory, and unnecessary. I think it would be a good thing if all parties could facilitate a mutually acceptable agreement, and throwing gas on the fire is not going to help that happen.

Yes, I didn't have money for a vet at the time for 13+ snakes especially not my own.
I have money for MY animals, because they are my full responsibility.

Why should I get rid of all my animals? They are all fat, healthy and doing just fine and when the time comes and they need to see a vet then I will happily take MY animals to the vet.

Thanks for your concern though.

Let's pretend that was those 13 or 15 snakes that are dead speaking through me... that was me being nice. I understand that a lot of private school'd type of human beings can't take harshness, I'm done being nice if you're killing snakes. Somebody has to speak for them. :)

Fair enough... But, Brian even reached out to me to help out back then. I remember it well. It was HIS full intentions to get them in proper hands before he went on the road and did a bunch of shows. I know this as fact! He TRUSTED Alex... There's no doubt Alex fed him a bunch of BS to obtain said animals and watched them wither... (I get heated now.)

Now, I wanna know how long did you sit and watch Alex? How long did you sit and wonder what the Heck was gonna happen to all those lives? Man, I am DISSAPOINTED in the fact I gotta share my passion, not hobby... WITH ANOTHER CLOWN LIKE THAT/YOU! (Done being Civil.)

Tom, I think Alex is not going to take your bait, it seems to me you just want to start a brawl, which is not a fruitful option.
Brian has not made a recent appearance in the thread, when he does, I'm sure he and Alex can consider options that may ultimately satisfy them both.

Not hardly... on the brawling part. I'm sure he's just a younggun. I can't even get a response from most when I go that route. Just stating some facts. Dead snakes; I don't think are funny these days.

One, sure... It happens. Two, maybe, rarer, but happened before! BUT 13-15 or more? I'm not laughing! Anybody laughing about that? And all at Alex's hands IMHO. He DID know they needed help. Can we agree on this?

He shoulda did something at #2... #3, I mean... Where does somebody laugh at somebody, or get upset finally? I'm embarrassed for Alex, to be perfectly honest. It screams 'don't touch him with a 30ft pole in my book...'

Anything, something, everything should have been done after 3 died. Openly stating 'I didn't have money then, but do now?' Am I alone here, or what? Dude stinks of death and dog doo to me... Just my opinion though. Merry Xmas, and good night. :)
 
Ok, did I miss something? Why did Alex pick up the snakes in Florida rather than Az? It seems like it is a bit out of the way. Especially, when he has a project that he invested 5 years of his time in.
 
No such thing as a "Het Desert" if you are talking about Ball Pythons. It is either a Desert, or, if it is a Het, it is probably a Het Desert Ghost.

It sounds like someone bought some snakes that were sick and pawned them off on someone to breed for them, and they were way to young, and or small and sickly.
