In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ali Rahimi - Scammer

Yes i know. It went to Frisco. I put Fresno when making the label and crossed it out and wrote Frisco and make fedex aware of the mistake. Double checked today after this happened and it indeed went to Frisco. It would take 6hrs to drive to Fresno from Addison. Tracking says it took 1hr to be delivered from the time it left Addison. It would be impossible to get from Addison to Fresno in that time. This was a scam from the very start and he tried to get as many snakes as he could. I just tried to send him the link to this post via Facebook message and he has me blocked. Wouldn't be surprised if that was just a fake profile and he already has a new one. He has 4 friends on that Facebook account. I just went to check on the status of the dispute and it was gone and so was my money.....

Send the tracking number to PayPal.
The only issue you may have is that it says Fresno & not Frisco.

It went to Frisco. Fedex verified. The zipcode and everything else is in Frisco. I sent PayPal everything and wrote them 2 messages

The face that he only has 4 friends on Facebook is a little suspicious. The address the snakes were shipped to definitely belongs to him though.

Actually I bet it would more likely occur in more affluent neighborhoods. More people ordering online, affluence might mean they can "afford to lose" the package, etc. I doubt someone stole it. Even if it was stolen, most carriers put liability on the recipient once it is left at an acceptable spot. You should have also required for a signature, as should be done with any live order.

I always forget to change the option for signature. After this I'm sure it will be burned in my head for now on.

Not sure what your experience is with shipping animals but sadly doing so is often useless as many people have their signature on file which means the package will be left at the door anyway.

It can also create other issues such as the animal not being delivered and placed back in a delivery truck with no AC as driver are less than patient and will usually knock and leave often not even giving time to people to get to the door.

The only alternative that would be viable would be the animal being held at Fedex for pickup where people have to show photo ID to retrieve their package, but this too is problematic for people living 2 to 3 hours away from a hub.

The seller did what most sellers who are experienced shippers do.

Now you would think that as a buyer you would refresh that tracking number pretty often living a very small window for anything to happen, after all you the buyer is expecting a live shipment.

The recipient has to authorize the use of signature on file. In the terms it puts all liability on the recipient if it lost. That is an issue of the buyer, if they are purchasing live animals why would you opt to use signature on file in the first place. The whole point of DSR is to have someone sign for it. There is a fee to use it anyway, so why opt for something a non DSR package uses by default if shipping would be $2 less. The driver can also request a signature regardless if they deem it necessary, such as seeing a live reptile sticker on a box, provided they have any rationale at all. Also note, though this is not the case, anything over $500 and FedEx requires a signature, regardless of options chosen, though the seller has to indicate that package is more than $500.

If it's through Express, all trucks have heat and A/C to my knowledge. They do not use the same vehicle for Ground and Express delivery options. From my experience, my local Express driver waits upwards of 2 minutes for a DSR package as compared to no signature packages. I know not every driver is the same but they do wait a reasonable amount of time for people to answer the door.

Most sellers, Tommy stated it slipped his mind, require a signature or have it held at FedEx (or other delivery services). Regardless of what happened, FedEx nor Tommy is responsible for a lost or stolen package if it was verified, by FedEx, that it was left at the delivery address.

I would call his local police station and see if he made a police report, whether he did or didn't it could be used to your advantage. I would get ahold of PayPal after that and make sure they contact FedEx that it did get delivered to right address. If you give up he wins and will continue to do it. Good luck!

The fedex info says it was delivered to Fresno TX not Frisco TX. Have you contacted fedex to make sure it was actually delivered to the correct address?

Did the OP answer this already?

I called fedex and they confirmed it was delivered to frisco. I dont think they read the label but instead scan it and the zip and address is in frisco. I'm sure if i didn't say anything to them they would have figured it out anyway. Also as someone said earlier it would be impossible to deliver to fresno from Addison in an hour. I'm still waiting for PayPal to review the claim. It might be taking extra time cause i sent so much info lol
