In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Ali Rahimi - Scammer

Paypal shouldn't of taken the money back until they came to a conclusion. Hopefully they didn't give it back to him and just holding onto it until it is settled.

They always take the money but neither party has access to it. PayPal holds it until it's decided who it will go to.

That makes sense. With all your evidence I don't see him getting it. Just remember to do signatures from now on and you should also put a brick in the box so the wind can't blow it away lol jk.

I'm not really sure what to make of this situation/person/etc.

At first glance "his" facebook page has all kinds of red flags. It makes you think it is not real. Taking the phone number listed: 469-951-4448 it takes to all kinds of classified ads: Bearded dragons, chameleons, kingsnakes, car parts, God Father pictures, junk on craigslist type sites.

Ali and Farah are on the address where the snakes were shipped, and have been there for several years, at least since 2010. There is another phone number: 972-712-1095 goes to the same junk: reptiles, turtles, car parts.

So... "someone" at that household is into sporty cars/ reptiles / God Father etc. Do I think it is some old bald Iranian guy in his late 50's, not so sure?

Could it be a kid instead of the dad? Possibly. Point being:
Names match address - address matches phone number - phone numbers match people dealing in reptiles.

Sorry. The supposed picture of "Ali Rahimi" is at least a match to the phone number since the home appears to be the same walls with lavender purple color paint on them.

He has responded on facebook under my for sale ad that he first contacted me on. I posted the link to this thread and he just kept commenting on the post. I have screenshots of the comments but won't be able to post them until tomorrow or the next day cause they are on my phone and im not aloud to post from taptalk.

This is the reason i love this site. You guys are better detectives than the police and collectively find out everything there is to know about the "bad guy" and "good guy" in question and uncover what the real story is instead of just taking one side. Although there are one or 2 that comment on impulse and dont bother to read through all the info posted. I had that problem with an individual on the bad guy post about myself.

PayPal says it could take up to 30 days for them to decide the outcome of the claim. All they have to do is look at the tracking and see that it was delivered since his claim is that he never received them.

Do you have documentation of the confirmation of delivery to fresno rather than frisco. I recognize the time lapse stamps line up for a fresno delivery, but I would think documentation would of the conversation w/ fedex as to the "mix up" would be important. Because honestly PP resolution center might not be as diligent / believing when it comes to that. They may rule to his favor just based on shipping to a wrong address (with out proper proof (very annoying)). I know I lost an eBay dispute VERY similar to this about 5-6 years ago. And up until last year eBay = PP, so similar resolutions.

I love how he puts it on God to resolve this problem! Good grief.

Regarding the Frisco/Fresno thing, I think it's important to point out that the buyer isn't using that as a reason the snakes are "missing". He's saying it was delivered to his house ok but then stolen. I think if PP questions the delivery address, it would be good to emphasize that.

He really strikes me as a scammer. Especially him only wanting half the money. I wonder how many people and businesses just take his offers and cut their losses and move on. So he keeps at it.

I hope that PP rules in your favor quickly. It seems fairly clear that you, the seller, did your part and even IF they were stolen (which I don't believe) that is on the buyer for not being there to accept the package.

You've had some nightmare customers lately, Tommy! I hope (actually I know from your good BOIs) that you have a lot of good ones to make up for that.

Most of my customers buy 1 or 2 garters then end up buying more a few weeks later. I have some of the best customers you can ask for and most of them i still talk to almost daily.

In the past 4 years selling online I've only had these 2 incidents. I have gotten lucky so far but i think my luck is running out and it's teaching me lessons the hard way. 2 days ago I just had someone ask me to "waive the signature" when i said no he got an attitude with me lol then he told me not to mark the box. I didn't do either but i might be back here with another boi posts. I sold him a pair of garters last month and it went smooth. This time 2 red flags....

Tom, I hope this comes out in your favor - such a disappointment to see this happen to anyone.

On a separate note Tom, "Allah" directly translates to "God". Didn't like how you threw that in there in your exchange with Ali. I'm a not-so-religious Greek Orthodox who leans more towards scientific findings over anything, but I've spent plenty of time in the Middle East and the majority of my friends from my younger days were Arabs, some of which were Christian - most of which were Muslim.

Their "Allah" is the literally the same thing as "God". It's the same God whether you're Jewish, Muslim or Christian. Kind of upset me seeing that thrown out in the way it was, out of spite. While he appears to be Persian - he may be a Zoroastrian and not even a Muslim.

Hope this deal works out in your favor in the end, best of luck and keep us posted.

I am Muslim... Please don't make this about religion.

Just an observation; Tom, you might want to correct your last name ... that is, if it is "Hamilton" and not "Hamiltom". I'm sure it's just an oversight/typo.

Here are screenshots of the driving times from each city along with the delivery confirmation
