My axolotl is now a candidate for an alien life form and I have the blurry photo to prove it!
She has the GFP (glow gene) but does not like to hold still under a black light for photos. My new theory is that the black light causes her retina to glow and that's got to freak her out.
Here are some shots in normal light, the glow gene is green in normal light and you can see the green through her pupils.
I keep her in a wine cooler because they like their temp in the 50 degree range.
