    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I came across this expo, its about an hour from me. I've never been, and was thinking of checking it out. The kangaroos they're having would be fun for the kids but this would involve some rearranging of my schedule and wanted to know if it was worth it, or I should just wait for Tinley. I dont have an urgent need to buy anything now, but would like am on the lookout for a good opportunity to pick up a BRB, adult female RFT or male Timor monitor as well as some inverts. Don't need feeders.

all animal show

I use to do this show for 20 years, and I no longer go, because it has turned into a flea market. Not many reptiles there, and when they say they have kangaroos, thats just to get your $5 door fee. but go see for your self..

Honestly, I'm not sure what mouseman is talking about. There are loads of reptiles at the expo. The number of tables with critters of all kinds far outweighs the number of tables with reptile- and exotics-related supplies and the very occasional arts and crafts.

My only complaint, personally, is a lack of diversity. Lots of ball pythons. A good number of corn snakes. Last time I was there I saw hedgehogs, rabbits, chickens, puppies, birds, loads of snakes, geckos, and frogs, among other things. Hardly any turtles. (I love turtles!) I'd love to see more variety. Bloods, STPs, rosies, carpets, retics, boas, colubrids of all kinds...But it's a bit overtaken with BPs and geckos. I feel like you just get a smattering of other stuff.

The kangaroos aren't for sale, for the record. They're just visiting as an educational and promotional sort of thing.

I agree more verity would be great. However my kids always have a great time when we go and its a great expo to get your feeders from between tinley shows.
