In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

All time favorite movies.

Wes: I love Pricess Bride, what a great story

Krsitin I sense a theme in most of your movies....LOL didn't see Army of Darkness though.

Yeah, that one to. The second one with all of his hand acting, or physical acting is great but ou have to love the Witch in Army of Darkness. I don't have a favorite just a bunch of favorites. Horror Movies are my thing, my Fiancees to. I will watch any movie once though for entertainment sake but you gotta love the Horror Movies!!

I do like some of the horror movies, not like I used to, but do have saw 3 but haven't watched it yet.

I myself am a huge movie fan. In fact I dont have cable just my movie collection and I watch a movie every night. I love a lot of different types of movies including, Pirates of the Caribbean, Feast, Monty Python(holy Grail), Dodgeball, Bad Santa, As good as it gets, Kill Bill (both), Clerks II(really funny movie), The Lord of the Rings Trilogy, King Kong(the T-rex scene is unbelievably realistic), Jurrasic Park And the Lost World, Sleepy Hollow, Orange County, Super Troopers, Gladiator, Wedding Crashers, The Wedding Singer, and soooo many more. I can enjoy almost any movie, but I am not big on sappy depressing crap or wildly unrealistic love stories ect, my life is depressing enough, I dont need to be reminded of it lol. Dan M.

I realized when I got home last night I missed one of my all time favorites, The Ghost and the Darkness, so I had to make mention of that. Dan M.

"The Bear", starring Anthony Hopkins & Alec Baldwin. Great movie.

I was lucky enough to find "The Bear" in that bin at walmart for like $5, I was so excited. I saw that in theaters when I was a kid, although I never noticed it was Anthony Hopkins or Alec Baldwin(I am pretty sure they are not in it as a matter of fact). Are you sure you dont mean the movie "The Edge", which had a bear in it??? Both are great films, but the bear was awesome because for once it sided with the animal, not the hunters, and was cool because Bart the bear is the man (RIP). Dan M.

Maybe it was called the "Edge". It had Anthony Hopkins in it. They were in a plane crash. I saw one night late on TV.

My favs would be (not in order):

Donnie Darko
American Beauty
Dusk Till Dawn
True Romance
Pulp Fiction
Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2
(Okay, I'm a Quentin Tarantino fangirl :p)
The Labyrinth
Baron Munchausen
Return of the Living Dead
Invasion of the Body Snatchers
The Dark Crystal
Saving Private Ryan
Full Metal Jacket
Forest Gump
Sin City
The Fifth Element

There are more, but that about sums it up.

...and a new one I just saw today and HIGHLY recommend Pan's Labyrinth. If you get the chance do not miss the opportunity to see it on the big screen.

Unfortunately I had not even heard of Pan's Labyrinth until the Oscar nominations came out. I had to catch it on the small screen, but it was spectacular. The make-up effects are incredible and the storyline was so much better than I could have imagined.

Some of my favorites:

Rear Window
Rope
One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest
Some Like It Hot
Reservoir Dogs
Dogma

I figured I would chime in, these are some of mine:

The green mile
Silence of the lambs
Heartbreak ridge
The cure
Red dawn
Pearl Harbor
Titanic

My favorites:

Western - The Outlaw Josey Wales

Classic based upon a classic book - Tie - Grapes of Wraith/To Kill a Mockingbird

Christmas - Miracle on 34th Street

Sci-Fi - The Lord of the Rings - Triology althought the first two Terminators were pretty good.

Comedy - The original The In-Laws

Drama - A Time to Kill

Comedy Action or whatever it is - Back to the Future

Well, since the holidays are over, I should probably bump the Christmas story.

Here's a couple more of my all timers:

Key Largo (Bogie classic)
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Sunset Boulevard

Incidentally, I just saw "No Country for Old Men". Great flick. Beautifully filmed. Chilling, raw, and sharp as razor wire.
