Allen, we've been through all of this before.

Jon did not send the spider back because at the point it was at, the stress of shipping alone very likely have killed it. Unlike you, he cared enough about the life of the snake to keep it and give it a fair chance at survival. It was worth more than dollar signs to him...it was a LIFE.

And we ALL know that the blood tests you supposedly had done (which none of ever saw any proof of) are next thing to useless anyway. A blood test can help to diagnose IBD, but it CANNOT rule it out.

I found the quote when you first started to say they someone could fake them. It's funny that you tryed to explain why your cages looked that way in your first post, but then 4 days later try to start claiming they were "set up".



First post talking about the pictures. No mention of staged pics.

Now to address the issues: In most of the photos the water has been recently spilled. What one person has called mold is in fact Spagnum moss not molded bedding. The lamp inside the boas caging is there because that female had a mild case of upper respitory and the vet told me to raise her temps for 7 to 10 days. Then the poop in the containers, well it is all fresh as you can see by the pics it is all wet. Let’s face it all animals poop! Poop on newspaper usually dries in 4 to 6 hours and on moss usually a day at the most. Next there is a pic of some high end ball pythons all together in on container. O.k. two piles of poop five snakes fresh water forty-one quart container oh I almost forgot these snakes just came in and there in quarantine. I am sure a lot of people have different practices as to how they quarantine there animals, but this is how I do mine. Now it is not alright to put twenty snakes together like this but I believe five to be a good number. Then the pic of a rodent in with a snake, you can tell this rodent has just been put in with this snake. How? Because it is either still alive for one or is not dirty from being in a cage for days as suggested. Because surely Bryon did not give it a bath before taking this pic.
And then comes the pic of a regurgitated mouse, about three to four times a week this happens to some snake in some gage. And I agree it is nasty to see and even worse to clean-up.

4 days later, when you realized you weren't going to "explain away" the pictures you decide to change the arguement to "set up".

Also the pictures that he posted do speak loud (that is if they were true examples of my business) Anyone can make a picture of a container look as good or as bad as they want to! You can look at the pictures and see how they could have been and were set up to make things appear worse that they were.

How about you do us all a favor Allen and just go away.

Allen,

For me it aint just the handful of poor quality animals that people have reported, but also your own words that make me not want to do business with you. Like you adamantly claiming to not having yellow business cards as proof that guy was not telling the truth. Then guess what, the guy takes a picture of the card you gave him, and sure enough, yellow as a banana. Then you say "oh yeah, the wife had those printed up, I forgot".

Stuff like that Allen has happened all over your threads, where what you say just doesnt add up. Plain and simple.

For me personally Allen it aint about the quality of the animals someone has, but the character of the person selling them. And in that department your own words have been your worse enemy. I have seen enough questionable things, both from unhappy customers and from your own mouth, that I just plain would not feel comfortable doing business with you.

Most of my posts are on various forums like the ball python, feeders etc. I go out of my way to help people with their animals and husbandry etc. I'm not here to compete with you Allen, I have no dreams to become a "wholesaler" or a "flipper" or a "jobber". Character Allen, character. Your own words Allen are your worse enemy and you are not intelligent enough to see that.

What you still dont seem to get Allen is that while all of us want to make a buck, and all of us will, this hobby aint a competition to us. We are not in it for the money. We are in it because working with these animals is what we love.

If the bottom fell out of the reptile market tomorrow you would move on to your next money making scheme, while most of us would still be here talking about the animals we still keep and be just as happy. They aint about competing to us.

I have been part of this community for 18 months with 1600 posts. Thats less than 100 a month and 2.9 a day. So I spend about 5 minutes a day responding to for sale ads, ball python questions, feeder questions and some BOI threads. Yep, it really sounds like I spend day and night here. Keep Digging!!

On another note on post counts - and I do not want to make enemies.

In the IBD thread, it was stated to the effect of "Knowing Big Daddy, if the results had come back negative, they would have been posted everywhere". I can try to find it if necessary.

He has 36 posts as of this post of mine, many in this thread - so unless he changed user ID - I'm not sure that statement was either fair or accurate. However it is easy to read a statement like that and assume it is true and that therefore conclude that he has IBD - just like it was easy for me to believe the initial pictures were genuine, and now - I'm not as convinced - and ethically it would have been better for me to say nothing and stay out of, but due to the passion the images invoked, I didn't and I have to admit I wrongly blasted him for it when I don't know they were real. And for that I have to apologize.

Allen, I seriously contemplated taking you up on your offer. But thinking it through....well, I don't see what it would really accomplish. Cleanups can be done, no one can judge whather it was that way before or would stay that way in the future. Character, however, cannot be changed.
