    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Looks like the mods decided upon form over substance and merged the threads.

FYI, the table diagram is a bit inaccurate, Big Daddy was not at the same table as Ben, IIRC. He was at a partially filled table at the end of a row. Perhaps there was some attempt by the Show to segregate his animals?

We have discussed it in the past and the concept of combining all opinions of one person/company in just one thread prevailed. At that point in time I was among those who thought that relevant issues get imbedded in a thread and people might never be aware of them until it is too late. But I see the point in wanting to have all the information on one person in just one thread as it simplifies the search process.

The limitation is that several threads have started as a good guy post to only turn several pages later into an undeniable bad guy post, when supported by additional information that was missing at the start. This thread is an example of such.

It started with a former employee showing what appeared to be filthy conditions in which animals were kept, followed by the suggestion that the former employee had a "personal agenda" against the employer. Now we are at the point where the lack of proper husbandry practices could have lead to one of the deadliests diseases that affects boids.

Any prospective buyer who reads let's say the first 20 pages (which is quite a bit) would completely dismiss the starting allegations, and will buy based on what was initially posted. He will more than likely never read through page 137 because by the time he is done ke risks that the animal he wants to buy would probably be sold! After all when something is for sale (and it’s really what one is looking for) we want to close the deal ASAP before someone else does it. It’s not very likely that we will go through dozens of pages but just do a quick search instead and count the good guy vs. bad guy thread titles.

Maybe the "give away" that something might be wrong is when you see a “good guy” thread that has an unusual number of replies. Maybe that one is worth a thorough reading.

Looking at the actual chart, it looked like both Ben and Allen would have been on the ends of tables right across from each other......right down the center aisle, where all of the traffic will pass by.
 
I can't believe they moved the IBD thread into this one. Seems strange seeing how important the IBD issue is to just bury it in another thread. There are a number of people with multiple threads about them why merge this one? Randy

Inconsistency is fairly consistent here, and one MUST retain consistency, even if doing so is inconsistent, as it is here.

Personally, I think the merge was a mistake and am hopeful that others will share this thought and separate the threads again.

I hope to one day see a pig fly too.

That thread, as titled, was not appropriate for the BOI, as is stated in the rules. So the choices of what to do with it were limited. I was asked by the author to change the title of that thread, which I declined to do for legal reasons. However, it was apparently moot anyway, as it had already been merged within this forum by the time I checked on it.

Sorry, the rules here, in my opinion, are few and rather simple to understand by the average person. And they are put in place for well thought out reasons. As such, they are not optional for YOU to follow or not. :NoNo:

Whoever posts here in violation to the rules runs the risk of decisions being made by the mods or myself about what to do with what they post. This clearly has the opportunity for the results of that post not being what they had hoped for. I would have completely agreed with and supported any mod who would have simply deleted that entire thread. That would have been MUCH easier to do rather than what was done.

Working with someone else on Fauna, we pulled up the PayPal account for [email protected] located in Florida. The account is registered to someone other than Allen. Sorry for any inconveniences towards this person but you can keep the dollar I sent you.

Maybe you are not willing to share what this post was about, and knowing you that's just fine with me. But I'm sure confused by it's meaning...You PayPaled one dollar to someone, or was that just a figure of speech?

Yes he probably paypaled the account to get the actual name of the person on the account to see if it were allen. And in return for the inquiry he let the man keep the dollar he sent him. Sounds pretty clever to me.
 
OK, now I get it. Do we all need to PayPal money to that account in order to know the truth? The last thing I want to happen is a bunch of us sending money to that account just out of curiosity. :)

ha ha no i dont think that is necessary, as long as we know that it is not allen. Im sure if you really needed to know, you could just as easily email the guy at big daddy boas. Or as a matter of fact maybe i will let him know about this thread.

Yes, that is what I did.

Most information can be gained without paying the person anything but I just wanted to take the added step to make sure a different name was on the account.
