    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I wrote david hess a letter informing him of allen and refered him to this thread and he said " He is not one of my vendors and i have never heard of him, Thank you, David Hess"
 
I have read some of this thread, and skipped some, as I have stated before I purchased a snake from Allen several months ago. It arrived healthy and to this day remains healthy. I purchased it hoping to breed him this year, I am not sure if he will be up to it, but I have recieved nothing but support from Allen. When I last contacted Allen beacuse the snake was not taking food, he suggested some african rats, I told him that I live in the sticks in Texas so he sent me three with no charge, and on the second offer the snake accepted the rat. Allen has done right by me. I hope that the accusations he is accused of are false, and I am sure (by the support he has offered me) he will make right any wrongs that have taken place.

Yeahhhhhh , don't hold your breath on that. From the looks of it he's already trying to wiggle out of the screwed up spider because it was seen by a licensed vet.

Well someone had something good to say.Allen has done my show for a year.I have not had any complaints .For those of you on this witch hunt.Do you really think every snake allen sells if infected ? Why have none of you contacted me?I own the Dixie Show.What about the other boa that was in with the one that died? If all of your comments were true the whole state of Alabama should be in infected with IBD by now.Are you planning to come down here with a lynch mob? I have also noticed that the ringleaders in this thread have thousands of posts.Makes me wonder if they have a life other than fauna.Thanks TerryHeuring/Dixie Reptile Shows

The real question should be is Allen 100% positive that every snake he sells is NOT infected? One is one too many.

That is without a doubt a flat out stupid statement. What does ones post count have to do with trying to find the truth? Absolutely NOTHING. That is so completely irrelevant... so completely stupid.

Regardless of what folks like you obviously think, most people here just want the truth. Most of us truly hope that Allen dont have this problem. Any time IBD rears its ugly head it effects us all. The truth is all most of us want. Nothing more. Nothing less.

So if he sells someone a snake that causes someone to lose their entire collection from IBD, do you want it to be from your show? Do you really want to take that chance? Do you really want to put your other vendors animals at stake? :NoNo:

No one bothered to contact you since you've made it obvious from prior posts that you wouldn't listen anyway. Wonder if you'd call it a witchhunt if it wasn't about one of your biggest vendors. I still remember at least 5 folks that I seen at Allen's table with dead animals in ziplock bags waiting for Allen to make it right and that was at the 1 B'ham show I did with him. Since it was Allen who sold them its doubtful they would've complained to you. Between the two threads a few folks have come forward about animals bought from Allen at YOUR DANG SHOW and you still don't see the light.

Anyone here knows theres a possibility that just the litter of boas he received was infected but we're smart enough to realize that cross contamination can infect everything else. Without him shutting down and doing proper testing how is anyone supposed to know. Are we supposed to just turn our backs on a vet report from ALLEN'S CUSTOMER about an INFECTED ANIMAL that the customer PURCHASED FROM ALLEN? Get real dude , your defending a sinking ship.Instead of worrying about your table fees and how many folks will come thru the door how about bucking up and making sure the vendors and customers that do come thru the doors aren't leaving with something that can destroy their whole collections.Feel free to do whatever damage control you feel you need to but make sure your controlling the right damage. Thats up to you , whatever lets you sleep at night.
 
Vendors put themsevles at chance at every show they do.Any dealer that buys sells and trades could come up with IBD and pass it on.Pete Kahl had it,he was in Daytona why would anyone go there and take a chance?I see now why Allen does not respond here any more and I dont blame him.
 
Well when you seen five people with dead animals at my show and by the way I missed them why didnt you come to me then instead of hideing here at fauna?

Why would I have to? They were standing in plain sight in front of his table at your show. Anyone coulda seen them. As far as hiding , I don't see any hiding , I'm here , I started this thread , took the heat for it and never hid from anything. I answered any question asked of me and brought all of the proof I had.

Now answer my question: Would you still this a witch hunt if it wasn't about your biggest vendor?

Heres another for ya : If your so sure we're all wrong , you willing to prove it by putting your critters in his buildings?

Did you type that with a straight face. Are you really trying to compare Pete Kahl and allen......good lord.
Pete has the money to invest in the best possible medical and veterinary care for his animals. allen is a whole sale business, money in, money out....pretty standard mode of operation. Note to self...stay away from Dixie reptile show.....:bolt01:

How long ago did you purchase your snake from him?

What were they and are the in isolation or mixed with all your other snakes?

You got 1 thing right so far. Did you see anything in the pics or the bad deals from Allen that wouldn't make someone disgruntled? Still defending a sinking ship there bud.

Terry, I believe the point Laura was trying to make was that Pete Kahl had the money to go through and do the testing and everything that NEEDS to be done. If Allen cannot afford to have the testing done, he needs to be looking at other ways of dealing with this besides continuing to sell animals to unsuspecting customers.

I'm curious too...did you buy the snakes from Allen before or after that boa came through his facility?
