In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

alligators seized

Ok that is really messed up. He STILL gets in trouble just for passing through the state with them?

The couple told investigators they were just passing through, relocating from San Bernardino, Calif., to Georgia.
"We get folks moving into Arizona, bringing their pets with them and just assume it's legal," he said. " . . . But this many is unprecedented."
Thats kind of wrong you can own these animals, ship these animals, but if they ride in your own car across state lines you are breaking the law. Reguardless if you were bringing them with you to your new house. What are they supposed to do sell all their animals they worked with and to buy all new ones once in georgia???

:hot:

It seems that SOME folks CAN'T change no matter how often or much they claim otherwise.

Once a scumbag, always a scumbag.

And, just in case ANYONE thinks this dirtbag did NOT know it was illegal to cross state lines with those animals, he KNEW. According to him he is well aware of all laws and regulations pertaining to reptile keeping. I find it HARD to believe that he had a permit for alligators in Ca. either. Being a convicted felon is NOT too good for one when federal and/or state permits are needed. Also, is there ANYONE who does NOT know that tortoises are PROTECTED?

SCUM, plain and simple.

brian smith, hannibal lector, damon henyon and a plethora of names this clown has used recently.

He's been selling off his collection, one of the "best" out there according to him, for the last eight months or so. I, unbeknown to him, spoke with him several months ago and was told he had completely sold out of pythons and boas. Just ANOTHER lie apparently.

This was the guy would "never" be out of the reptile game and was going to be, once again according to him, a "big" name.

HA.

A big felon. I wonder if the Law Enforcement agencies in Az. know about all of his aliases, aliasi, hmmmm whatever the plural for more than one name is. Dennis the moderator, whose last name I have completely forgotten, don't you have some contacts in the Az. area? Or perhaps Ken Harbart does.

I wonder if he was hanging with our skinhead pal adam quagliata. Naw, probably not since according to damon he is of a slightly darker skin shade than adam and since they will both probably be in the same "gated community" someday I doubt they'll be sharing their love. Not out here anyway.

You can read all about him HERE , when he was going by Josh Burm Guy. His most recent Fauna id is Hanibal Lector. Interesting thread. It's a shame it's locked so that this little tidbit can't be added.

Busted in AZ, but claims he was relocating from CA to GA...

Gee, aren't gators off lmits in CA?

Come to think of it, they're also restricted in GA, as well.

Let's see... his defense is that he shouldn't be busted in AZ because he was intending to commit crimes in other states. Did I get that right?

From what I can gather, that is the reason he was detained...you can pass through arizona (up to three days) with non legal az wildlife...providing you have the PROPER PERMITS from your state of origin...he must not have...
sleezball, that one...
greg

hey

hey he sounds like a bad person. why was he so irresponsible to not have proper permits for his animals of his state atleast that would have helped. but if he is what you guys say he is then he deserves what he gets.

but any way i wanted to know if any of guys can provide a link to the all the states laws on animals? thanks a lot

No tail lights   what an idiot. Stupid criminal. He belongs on COPS, along with all those idiots who pack 40 pounds of (illicit drug of choice) into their car with any combination of; No tail lights, expired tags, speeding, etc. and then hit the highway. It is funny as heck though, the moron packing all his illegal herps into his camper and moving, just to get caught and end up in the news (and hopefully prison....again), what are the odds. It's nice to see that Karma thingy in action "first hand" though.

Oh my GOD!
And to think I was having a bad day before I read this... Caught red-handed driving on a suspended licsense with a whole camper-full of illegal herps.

Touche - Brian Smith -- you are your own worst enemy. I almost shuddered at the thought of him moving to my own back yard, but it was probably just a lie anyway.

What makes this all the funnier is that he likes to pretend he's filthy rich...

Do you have to get up early tomorrow and go work for somebody "R"itchie? Just wondering. I'm self employed and can stay up all night if I want to. In fact, I usually do. It's my alone time. My guess is that you probably do. But don't feel ashamed to admit it, most people have to be content to work for some other shmoe for the majority of their lives. It's just the general system that most live in and accept and then get trapped in for life.

What a lying condescending P.O.S. Apparantly he left the yacht back in California...

The only condescending A holes I see here have no idea who (what?) they are. Just because you can type, dosen't mean that you should.

Ya got me ... what am I?

Damon splits San Bernadino with all the gators and boa's he can carry in his crappy old camper. He doesn't have a valid driver's licence, he doesn't even have a taillight. Not the worlds most ambitious guy to be sure... so what made him decide to up and leave his palatial estate??? Must've been in a big hurry... Wonder what he was running from? And what happened to all those colonies of new morph's ... lol.

Hmmmm...

OK, I read the other thread on here about him. HOLY CRAP! The thread is 128 pages long, and would have gone on, but it was stopped by the moderator.

While my impression is that the guy has a tenous grip on reality, and maybe a bit of a braggart, I don't really see any evidence that he did anything seriously wrong.

Any one of you who has transported reptiles across state lines has probably broken some stupid law at one time or another.

Personally, I felt sorry for the guy, and it just seemed like some of you were just a little too gleeful to kick him while he was down.

You apparantly missed the fact that he "accidentally" killed an associate and did time for manslaughter. He's since tossed off death threats to a lot of the members here. He waived a gun in the face of a friend of mine. He's known far and wide as one of the most hated individuals in the entire North American herping community. And he deserves every bit of it.

I wish I could be at his trial just so I can laugh in his face at the sentencing.

Well, if what you say is true, I guess you're right. I didn't catch that stuff in the thread, but c'mon, it's 128 PAGES............
