Just to let everyone know. Amanda, if that is her real name, lied about the female balls that she posted and sold to me. She said that she had them since they were 100 grams but they arrived with ticks and looking pretty freaking bad. I still haven't checked the sex, so I don't know if they are females yet. I can add that later today. She did send 7 snakes so she didn't totally rip me off but she is definately a liar and somebody who you should avoid doing business with. She lives in Georgia and has a guy named Greg from Store Front Designs run her credit cards for her. I don't think she is using her real name because I couldn't find anything about her on Zaba search or the telephone directory. Eric White, also contacted me and said that she ripped him off also but since I had just got done talking to another person that Eric ripped off on the same kind of deal , I guess he got what was coming to him. Hopefully, they are all females, I think I can get them to eat with some effort but I wanted to give everybody a heads up on her or whoever she is. Of course, I now get no response from her through e-mail. It seems that there are nothing but scumbags in this industry and a good person is really hard to find. Sucks, because it messes business up for the people that aren't ripping people off. She's a dirtbag so deal with her at your own risk. Later.

Sorry, but I have to take exception to this point. There are a lot of good people in this industry. They are everywhere. Just because you chose to deal with someone of risk (meaning you chose to do business with someone you had little or no verifiable information on) instead of an established honest breeder, does not make everyone in this industry "scumbags".

Now to the subject at hand..... It would help if you could post some evidence (emails and such) to back up your claims. Not saying I do not believe you but anyone can say anything about people, it really does not mean much without some hard evidence to back up your position.

What info do you have on this transaction? Any saved emails? Picks of the animals? Links or screenshots of her ads? Anything evidence you or anyone else ripped off by her can post will help.

She did give me a couple of phone #'s and stuff to verify who she was but they do not work now so go figure. I can post e-mails but for what. You do not think that posting proof when you make claims against people is important? Lets go hunt some witches!!!! Hell tomorrow I could post claims about you. Most people know that I am an honest person but they would still expect some form of proof from me. Not only to back up my claims but to help document how she does things and with what names, phone numbers, email addys, etc. It helps make them work harder to rip off the next person.

It supports your complaint for starters. The rules for posting on the BOI, which you may have failed to read prior to joining, or in your eagerness to "warn" us, is that you must provide facts to substanciate your allegation. For me to decide if what you are stating is a fact, I would like to see the evidence which could prove your allegation. I think you would want me to consider the very same if this were a complaint I was viewing about you.

If I did a keyword search with what you posted, "She burnt me bad", I'll betcha I come up with more than just one hit. I dont mean to say your just one of thousands to say such a thing, but in reality....this is fauna.....and you are.

And that is why we would want the proof. I would rather not walk away from a potential good deal based simply on four words by a member with 10 posts, no feedback, 0 reputation points.

There are plenty of good guys in this industry although it would not be fair to start giving names at the risk of leaving some out. There is one formula you have to apply (I believe Evan stated it a while ago): Low price = high risk; high price = less risk. Of course it is not fool proof as they are some scammers that put a high price tag on their animals, and every now and then you might get a good deal from certain importers. If a well known breeder/importer has those animals you are looking for but at double the price you are willing to pay, buy from him half as many. You will avoid being in the situation you are right now. Anyways I hope yours turn out to be females at least.

I also would initiate a claim with the credit card company. Most times you have to wait for a statement, but once you have it they likely will find in your favor, expecially if the store was processing your card as a favor for someone else. That is generally a violation of the TOS of the card processor.

Thanks for the info ... I called the number listed about since the same company ran my credit card also ... A guy by the name of Ralph answered the phone saying he was the owner of Store Front Designs ... I told him the situation and asked him if he ran a charge for me and he said that he shipped out his satelite CC machine about a month ago ... He is claiming that he knows nothing about it and thinks that "mandy and greg" some how got a hold of it and is running payments though under his name ... But he is claiming that he does not know any Mandy Greenburgs or any one by the name of Greg ... Here are all the emails between me and Mandy ...
I have tried multiple times to contact Mandy and no answer per phone or email ... Here are the emails (reverse order ... First emails at the bottom ... sorry)

Okay,I packed the snakes up and brought them to work with me but never made it to the ups store!

I have them soaking at my house right now.... rehydrating.

I just didn’t have enough time to get them out I rushed down there but by the time I got there they were closed I thought the closing time was 8:00 but it was 7:00 for the last pick up.

It takes a few days for it to go through the system and since its a holiday they said it would clear on Wednesday or thursday.
Someone backed out of a deal due to a family emergency so I only have a few available (smaller ones)
The sizes you listed below are the ones I was going to send you! All between 1300-1500 grams,I will make sure there my best.

OK, I just realized something. I have about half of our e-mails with each other here at my house and the other half at work so how can I do this post so it makes sense to everybody. I can't just post what I have here because it is almost all her posts answering my questions. I'll have to save them tommorrow and send them to myself and then post the entire conversation at once. Just an update, she contacted me by e-mail and asked why I thought she ripped me off because she sent me awesome ball pythons. I sexed them tonight, 4 males, 3 females, not a total loss but still fresh imports that were covered in ticks. As far as why I bought them from a questionable source, as I said "tell me where to buy them from a breeder at any price. Nobody is selling females so it makes it hard to get them. Usually, by the time I call they are already gone. I work 60 to 70 hours at my job and I have a lot of animals to care for so I don't have a ton of time like many of you do. I just do the best I can and this is the first time that I've been ripped of and I do apologize for the earlier remarks but I was angry at the time and anger makes you say stupid things. I can admit that and most won't. My purpose was to inform others and thats it. I will post all of my evidence and any further correspondance tomorrow. I am new to posting and I didn't read the rules so thats why I didn't. If you all know breeders that are selling CB adults, by all means, let me know. I would truely appreciate it but why does it make it my fault just because the were only $140 a piece. She still lied and misrepresented the animals and also has a bunch of other shady business going on with this credit card being run from a source that supposedly has no idea that the cards were run in their name. I will wait until I post the e-mails before I say anything else. Thank you.

Make contact with them, prefferably a supervisor, explain your situation concerning possible fraudulent actions, and see if they can aide in identifying her.
