    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bill and the guys at American Cricket Ranch are great!! Very customer service oriented.

They supply crickets for the San Diego Zoo and had to go through an inspection policy as part of that.
 
thanks for your reply. I was curious because i ordered wax worms from them wednesday i believe and still havent recieved them.
 
Curious, Did you call or email them? Depending on where you are compared to where they are in the US they may have held them until Monday so they weren't sitting at a UPS station over the weekend. Also at times shipping companies will drop the ball. Bill has always been right on top of getting replacements out. Give him a call he's real easy on the phone. 619-561-7327 is their number.
 
You cannot go wrong with American Cricket Ranch. They have very good service. If there are problems with the shipping company they make it right and look for new ways to get you the product. In 2 years have never had a problem they would not fix and none of the were there fault.
 
I placed an order last summer and was suprised when i got them that the shipping charges were almost as much as the price of the product i ordered.

I ordered some silkworms from ACR for my Panther chameleons. I anticipated overnight delivery due to frigid temps here in OH, and the web site didn't have any place to specify shipping choices.

The worms were sent "second day air" and arrived dead. I contacted Bill at the Ranch and received a quick reply, informing me that the worms would be replaced. Bill told me that they had tried to save me the cost of overnight shipping, but took responsibility for the loss.

This kind of service after a problem is to be commended, and I won't hesitate to order again.
 
well i finally recieved my wax worms yesterday and they were alive and well, up until they became dinner :D .
 
I just had a good transaction with ACR, I live locally to them so I just picked up an order. They were good to deal with.
 
Excellent Supplier

I've used them for a long time with great overall results. They ship crickets to me weekly now (automatic). Any rare problems are fixed easily, and it's nice to call a cricket guy that actually answers the phone (since about half of them don't). They're at all the west coast shows and I'd highly recommend them.
