Well, it seems the BBQ is already under way here in SoCal. Anybody who would like to attend, feel free. Here are some items that we seem to be in short supply of (but the BBQ is fired up and hot):

marshmallows
hotdogs
graham crackers
chocolate bars
Ice tea
fire extinguishers
SCBAs (Self Contained Breathing Apparatice for those of you who have never taken a HAZMAT class)
and of course milk and oreo cookies

And on the more serious side,
May the winds soften, the air moisten and the firefighters remain strong.

Maybe I should go to more shows. Hell, I'll only be 30-40 miles from Daytona, if hot women will be there I'll make the trip.

Last night I signed up with the ReptileForums topsite listing.

Well I will no longer be supporting them. Well probably not anyway.

I see Mario can leave negative feedbacks on the fauna.
He can leave negative feedbacks on my site.

But he gets his negative feedbacks erased.

This is what I posted on Reptileforums.com
Hopefully they will research this and erase the negative comments and other stuff Mario put on other peoples sites. If he can get his erassed it is only fair everyone else gets theirs erased as well.

Mario Stinso of Geckonetwork.com can leave negative feedbacks for Faunaclassifieds.
He can leave negative feedbacks for my site RitchieReptiles.
he can leave negative feedbacks for his competitors site GeckoIsland.com

But he can get his negative feedbacks for his own site erased ?!?!?!?!?!?!?


Someone needs to correct this.

OK, maybe it is just a blonde thing, but I can find were to submit feedback, but I can't actually find feedback on any of the sites that are listed......

To provide feedback on a site, you need to first go to the Top Sites link on the upper right. From there, you read and write reviews for individual sites by clicking on their resepective bar graphs in the Stats column.

I thought those comment areas would be a problem for that type of topsites program. Leaves too much chance of abuse, which I guess at least one person is finding out about.

It would probably be better to just eliminate that section of the code completely, as it really serves no purpose. It's the ratings that count. People will vote for the most popular sites by the click of the mouse button.

Kind of senseless to see someone rant about how bad a site is when it is rated at the top of the popularity chart, I would think.

Personally, I would vote to leave the comments made in my own listing there. It tells more about the person making the comments than it does about my site.

Not criticizing any decisions you've made relating to your site, however I'd be very curious to know what spurred the removal of the comments in question.

Glad to see you're making constructive changes to your site, regardless of what prompts it. Keep up the good work.

The reason i removed the ability for people to write reviews is becuase i have been getting emails and PMs about bad reviews and I am always deleting reviews and wasting my time.

I figure if you want to see how good a site is, then just go to it and make your own impression instad of reading what others have posted by it.

That's exactly what a topsites program is for. People are voting by the clicks of their mouse. I thought it was humorous to see FaunaClassifieds having some bad voting reviews yet it was up at the top of the charts for traffic. Of course, I knew all along the people likely to be posting those negative votes, so it didn't concern me in the least.

I now know the stuff was not erased for Mario.
At least not this second time.
This time he just took his information off..... and then he took the button off his website making the button sink to the bottom with its bad comments.. Then he signed up for another account.

He now has two accounts.

The first one is ID number 55 current rank 84
The second one is ID number 144 current rank 15

and to think..on his forum he was telling people that I cheated on this topsites......and the reason he gave was because he got a negative rating.
