Last year i attended a trip to Orlando, Florida for a week. I was worried about leaving my reptiles at home but i figured if i fed well before the trip and left plenty of water, then they would all be okay. So i did as i said and fed my baby cali king a pinky and fed my leos some crix and left some mealworms in the tank.
My whole vacation i was thinking about what my kids were doing at home. The last day of the vacation(the ride home) i was SO ready to come home. My dad asked my brother what his favorite ride was and he was in a bad mood so he said the ride home...it may have been a be-there moment.
So i get home and i RUN in the door down the stairs and look in my cali kings tank....He was GONE...i was like well thats not good so i run over to my leopard geckos tank and looked down and there he was curled around right under their light. The leos were no where in site...I was like theres no way this little snake ate these leos..they're bigger than him.
I lifted up the hides and there they were. As calm as can be. I don't know how or why or what happened but i was just glad there were no battle scars. I figured they got lonely and decided to have a party...lol
Well that taught me too secure cage tops very well...don't even ask how a 14 inch snake crawled out of a 10 gallon tank...lol. He must've been very lone.
Well just thought i'd share another leo story. I need to go to bed but i can't sleep. Thanks to anyone who reads this whole thing...lol
