In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I have noticed on this forum that although many of you have tremper albinos and othe tremper leos not many of you have giants in any form, or have them for sale. WHY NOT. Do you guys not like the giants for some reason. I did read the thread on giants being a recessive gene, or not, but I dont know if that is why you dont mess with them. I would think adding the giant genes to anything would be cool How bout a Giant super hypo tangerine carrot head carrot tail. Or maybe a giant blazing blizzard or whatever . Im new and my first leo was a Giant so I like them. I just bought a giant tangerine jungle, shes 1hot momma

i personally believe there are so few for sale because people are working with the ones they have. some are nonbelievers and think it is a linebred trait resulting from breeding a big leo to a somewhat big leo so they steer clear of them but i love mine. got two. next year ill have about 8 plus the two i have now . i think later this year and next season you will see a lot more for sale.

i have 1.1 and 2 eggs in the incubator right now, but they have only been in the incubator for 2 weeks, so i have a ways to go. it's my females first clutch, so i'm hoping for the best.

Agreed

Although the thought of having an exeptionally larger leo is "pleasuring", if they are a "line bred trait" then that mostly means that anyone with leo breeding experience can find 2 of their largest albinos, and breed them untill they get larger babies, personally..i'd like to get my hands on a giant..but i wouldnt buy one from ron..wouldnt want to get one with missing toes..kinked tails..under/overbites..whatever..also..i personally think if ron keeps this up..the false advertisment..and the leos with missing toes..and not acknowledging that befor selling..then his reptutation as one of the most famous leo breeders around will go down the drain..i dont know why..but whenver i hear..or read about Tim Rainwater..tremper pops into my head..dont get me wrong...he's a nice guy and all..and has some awesome geckos..but lets face it..if he has to commit to well...fraud to sell his geckos then he's going to end up like rainwater and end up having his geckos re-named "Texas Albinos" lol..if i ever did buy a giant it would be from Kelli..or Alberto..i think rons prices are also way overboard..i can go to a show or to a petstore and find very healthy adult/baby tremper albinos for 35$..i wouldnt pay over 100$ for a normal banded albino...this is just my 2 cents...anyone..feel free to disagree..lol

Well put.

Of course that just it. I have only seen 1 Giant! I would love to see other Giants! Do they exist?

well..

i dont know if your being sarcastic or not , LOL
but i've seen many giants at shows here in NY at Albertos table, adults, and babies

Alberto has one for sale. He bought it from Ron at one of the shows. When Alberto bought it, I think he said it was 125 or 135 grams. He lost his tail and now he is only, 80(?) grams.

That is weird though, that there is no other leopard gecko out there that is as big as Moose. You would think some one would have done it by now.

I think moose must have been a genetic fluke(?).

Matt

well if you want a large gecko just get some of the ray hine line hypos that have been ouitcrossed...... kelli has some insanely largee super hypo carrot tails....... that measure up in length and weight to the giants and they normally produce big babies maybe i can get her over here to comment unless she is putting the beast to sleep :hehe:

I agree with Robin,

I wish I had my Camera with me. King is at least 11 inches and over 100 grams. When I got him from Alberto he was a bit thin, but I have been feeding him non-stop super worms and he is huge :)

Matt

as i said i dont know beans about genetics but my 5 month old t giant is way way way bigger than my others that are much older although Gieco is a big pig. Has anyone noticed that leos have a sheit eatin grin that makes them look like they are up to something
