    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I figured this was worth a BOI post. While viewing the ball python classifieds on this site, I came across an email address that seemed familiar from awhile back on another forum. Here is the ad:

I thought that the email address seemed similar to a user name of a kid that used to post on another forum that I attend, so I did a quick check and found this from another site (all his stuff from the other forum is deleted...dont know why):

Note the same name and email address. I would just like to let everyone know that a 13 year old kid is selling $4500 worth of stuff on this site. It just seemed odd to me and I wanted to inform everyone of this MINOR issue :)

Nothing wrong if you reall have them. When I see a kid advertising a high dollar item that he has not worked for I am tempted to run (not walk) away.

Andre, if you do indeed have the cages all you would have had to do was maturely post a nice statement reiterating the fact that you have the cages in question and have the proof to back it up. End of story :)

Your hostility in getting questioned about it makes one wonder if you are indeed "for real". So as it seems you are indeed following this thread I propose a deal.

Post a picture of yourself standing in front of one of the cages wearing a red shirt. You do that and I guarantee no one will question whether or not you are legit.

They may want to call and question you parents, but not you, I am sure. :hehe: I personally would want to talk to mommy or daddy.

Well here is where I am a little confused. On the ad you have them listed as sold.

Which is it? You have them as stated above or you sold them????
 
i made it like it was sold because i cant delete the ad so i will be posting another add as soon as i get the picture with me in a red shirt infront of it wich will be saturday at the earliest

Because until then you can't enter into a binding contract so anyone working with you has the potential to lose BIG TIME.

Therefore people should remain cautious when dealing with you until you are 18 years of age and you can enter a binding contract.

AT least, that's my interpretation.

OK, this was the response to me. When it was first posted I really didn't know what to make of it. Now I get it.

Translations:

The first sentence is easy and I did understand it earlier.

The second sentence I now understand as:

And so what if I was going to buy a bird before? You know that plans change.

Yes, I guess that they do.

I also would be concerned in dealing with a minor who I cannot go after legally if the deal goes bad.

ok i will be buying one of them from petco instead of 2. i will be buying it for 50 dollars. they are worth more then what i paid for they had to get rid of them because they where remodoling. if you do not believe me i will give you my petco # so you can call and ask.

Anyone under the age of 18 should make that fact known to all potential buyers. Since you did not have your age posted, I figured it would be best to inform everyone. I never once stated anything was right or wrong.....Just pointed out facts thats all.
