Just a FYI to everyone....
It has come out that Andre Gennaro from RegalBoids.com who uses the user name on here of albinoballpythons has lied to a bunch of people ( apparently not the first time either ) about housing healthy and sick snakes together that he has/had for sale. These snakes are/were only for sale because he needs the money to pay for another morph that is getting from a member on here. I'm not going to write a long list as to why, since it's all documented on this thread. Page 2 is where it really starts. Just want to warn everyone in case he has posted these snakes for sale else where... Selling sick and or possibly sick snakes and lying about it all is just not right.

So I understand from reading the first two pages of that thread there is that he is/was perhaps lying about whether the sick animal(s) were in the room with the allegedly healthy ones. That's the gist of the issue?

As is also noted, he is underage and has a history of being less than forthright. Anyone who would deal with him is taking a big chance. Maybe when he's "all growed up".

Yes you are correct. Also apparently a few people have had problems with him buying things from them and him not giving proof of his age when asked to provide it in the past.

Oddly enough, someone mentioned him to me a few days before this thread. I didn't follow up on it, but I am glad I know the background on him now. Though, he will probably (or hopefully) learn from this experience.

That's also documented on this site. Evidently the problem (?coincidentally) arose after Wes declined to give him a couple thousand dollar loan.

Andre, you are definitely hurting yourself, again. You need to take a few steps back and think about what you are doing. Habits learned in childhood and adolescence can be difficult to break, and being known as dishonest is not something that you want in any business.

I cannot figure out why so many are out to lynch this kid. Hes 14, loves his animals and is eager to learn and better himself. I see he lied in part about some bird cages a year ago. BIG DEAL. He DID pay for one and was waiting to pick it up.

As far as the health of his animals. I have seen his setup/collection first hand and his animals are kept well, better than other breeders for sure.

Christ, when I was 18 I was keeping my balls on aquarium gravel and a hotrock.

Andre, just learn from all of this and don't bend the truth. Your young and if you keep the enthusiasm you have now you will succeed.

Sorry Al but I have to disagree. He does have a lot to learn and prove. I can't say he does not love his snakes, but keeping sick snakes in the same room as healthy ones that are for sale isn't the best idea. So now he has possible sick snakes that are for sale. Not a good thing. When this was pointed out, he lied. People came out and said "Hey why are you saying that, when just a few minutes ago you stated this to me?" and his response's were lies. He even went up against two really great MOD's trying to say "hey you are wrong... I never said that" Finally after being chewed out for lieing and having people post parts of their conversations with him, he then finally say "hey yeah I lied... sorry".

Nobody likes a liar... specially when it comes to buying and selling goods. Those goods in this case are/were those snakes. In his case I really hope his others ones don't catch the RI's that 1 or 2 of his others have. RI's suck!!!

For years I kept new arrivals in the same room as my collection. I was shipped animals from the biggest breeder on the east coast and 2 of 4 had RI. Did it spread....? NO, I kept them in a separate rack and practiced cleanliness.

Like I said, give the kid a break.

And why the hell is this on the BOI???????

Selling "possibly sick" snakes.?.?.?.

Unreal............................................................................

Did he wrong you Assison?

Al,

It's here because it's a "heads up" that he's trying to unload snakes that may not be healthy and have not been kept in separate quarters from ill snakes. Fairly valid in my opinion.

Your defense that he's 14 notwithstanding, if he wants to swim in the big pool he's got to understand that the standards are higher. By now, if nothing else, he should have learned that dishonesty is not well regarded, and he should be leaving the buying and selling to a responsible adult until such time as he is one.

The fact that you practiced sub-optimal quarantine measures (as did many of us when perhaps we didn't know better) and got away with it didn't make it a good practice. I doubt however that you lied about where and how you kept your collection.

Anyone dealing with a 14 year old without parental consent is loony in my opinion... sorry.

you have no say in legal matter if this kid screws ya over, and really. i cannot feel sorry for you if you knowingly ( read: KNOWINGLY) go into a transaction with him.

As for the "oh its okay, hes 14" no.. its not. If hes going to play here he better be honest. if hes capable at 14 to care for ( or not...) and breed reptiles hes Completely capable of telling the truth and presenting his animals well and truthfully.

"he's trying to unload snakes that may not be healthy'

I understand, but the above is what gets me, MAY not.

True, but to go this far, overkill.

I too am wondering what the real intent of this thread is. I am talking with Andre right now...he has never even done business with the person who started this thread. It is my understanding that the BOI is for good or bad "experiences". If the BOI is based on assumptions rather than real experiences than how do we know if any seller/breeder can be trusted?? :shrug01:

Have you read the other threads about the kid?

What things were posted are "assumptions"?
