Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello everyone,

Had a great transaction with Andrew Hermes over at Arizona Tortoise Compound. Amazing communication, responded to all my questions and needs, arranged for shipping and the tortoise arrived via Southwest Cargo the very day after I had made initial contact with Andrew.

Extremely pleased with the huge (easily 75lb) male Sulcata I purchased from ATC and I would definitely do business with Andrew again.

Yeah, if you're the kind of person who has no interest in honesty and integrity; someone who he didn't choose to bend over during a transaction where his inept shipping led to the demise of the animal he sent, I'm sure he's a swell guy. :rolleyes:

I just find myself hoping that I'm not the only one here who believes that those who actively support scum should be thrown in the very same category.
 
I happened to be in Arizona, and got to meet Andy. He seemed like a very nice guy, and I bought two baby Indian Star tortoises from him.

I will not speak to the incident outlined in the other post, as I had nothing to do with it. All I can say is, both of those little stars are eating and active and seem healthy and I I saw where they were raised, and they were well cared for.

That's great to hear. I have absolutely no complaints with Andy. Spoke to him earlier this week about purchasing an albino Sulcata and will be doing that rather soon.
