Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Actually that wasn't even a subject in that thread at all. Andrew wound up making that one of the focuses and seemed to make it almost the main focus... But in fact, Gilpin was just posting to add onto the fact that Andrew had lied - he wasn't trying to bring up everything else.

But none of the other members paid any attention to what went on between Andrew and Gilpin. They were more concerned at the reason why he lied was. This has nothing to do with how he does business at all, and quite a few members have already stated that they do not change their views based on that at all and it was not the matter at hand.
 
I have known Andrew for 4 years. He is a fantastic guy, and I have done business with him flawlessly. He has some great animals, and is up front and honest regarding them. It pains me to see people whom have never done business with him slandering his name. That is NOT what the BOI is about.

Take your petty assumptions and character judgements based on your own misinterpretations over text back to Twitter and Facebook.

Really? do you have nothing better to do than sit there on your computer and belittle someone such as Andrew. What he said to the Gilpins was taken out of context. As for people calling it unprovoked, it certainly was not. They made an add that was a direct slander at his current price.

I currently own 4 animals which he produced. one Leachie and 3 cresteds. you know i may even have a 4th crested he produced although i never asked about that. You dont have grounds to start your own bad guy thread on him so your attacking the Good guy thread he has... I bet you feel great about yourself dont you. But unlike you im not going to base my judgement on you off your childish actions. You have some amazing looking animals and im sure your a respected breeder. but idk you so i cant say for sure.

Back to andrew.

He has been one of the best people ive met in this reptile world.
I feel he has become a friend of mine and when you can conduct biz that way that your customers are your friends I think your doing a hell of a good job. I have spent not nearly as much with andrew as I should have. He has made me incredible deals because he knows were a single person income family. Hes a good person.... I just bought a Leachie Egg from him. Took a total risk on an egg, If i did everything right then if the egg died he would replace it or give me my money back. Well things started to get scary on the last two days of inc time. I called him in a panic and told him i think i killed it because when the crestie egg hatched ( which was free BTW as a learning experience he felt i should hatch one out before i start breeding. He helped me for no gain to him at all.) i added more water to the incubator. I was scared and i assumed the egg was dead. Without hesitation he offer me the hatchling sibling to the one i had. His LAST leachie from is amazing pair. He Offered it to me at no cost. his reason, he knew how much i would love the animal and that if mine died he would feel right keeping that one. That means he was willing to give up 2 leachies to me. A complete loss when you consider how much i bought the egg for, almost nothing really

Look andrew is one of the nicest guys youll ever meet and cool as hell. his animals are awesome and he welcomed me into his home and let me see everything. he has nothing to hide and is a great friend.

if you buy from the BREEDER known as Aschnell your getting 1. a good deal 2. a good friend who will help you with anything you ever ask.

Ed, this should stop know. Were all adults and this needs to be a good guy thread on him, if you have a valid bad guy thread you could start on him, please do so. If not, leave the poor guy alone.

The BOI is here for people to express opinions, and it is up to every individual reader to make up his or her own mind. While I don't feel that linking to the other thread was really warranted, Ed did and now it's here to stay.

I do not feel that what was shared in the PM would qualify for a "bad guy" rating for Andrew. The BOI is not here to ridicule people, but sometimes things come out when trying to clarify a reptile transaction that may be unflattering to parties involved. Andrew's actions were only brought up because a scammer claimed to have his gecko. That would be important to know if the scammer decides to pull a fast one and resell the gecko without being the proper owner. Fingers crossed that the return of Max goes smoothly.
 
Just did a trade transaction with Andrew. Excellent person to deal with, perfect communication, and he even gave me a great tip for shipping reptiles which helped me out in a huge way! I traded an adult pinstripe female crested for a nuu ami leachie hatchling!
great person to deal with, and would not hesitate to do business again. Thanks Andrew!
 
I've done business with Andrew more than once now, and figured it was about time I leave him a response - I've never had any issues, the animals have been beautiful, and he's always been very generous with me.
