Im glad he can get the stuff out to you that you ordered, as a friend most likely, and even was kind enough to give you extras...which is interesting considering he cant even get other peoples original deals to them yet he was able to send you more than what you ordered. Hopefully this is the start of him making amends for everyone else too.

Friends no. I have sold to him before, he has sold to me before, but thats it. The purpose of my post was to show I think he is trying to get things straightened out. (or I hope he is I should say) I am not saying don't be mad or feel wronged, and asking to wait a bit longer is just salt on the whole situation I know. But if he's given a bit more time maybe he does square it all away.

Ive been told Im an optimist to a fault. =)

BEWARE!

On January 13, 2015, Andrew Schnell requested (by text) a photo of a female Enchi Clown he said he was very interested in buying. He wanted me to place the snake on a $20 bill and text him the photo. It was a peculiar request but I went ahead and sent the photo. He explained he wanted to see the snake for size comparison.

Today, I heard from a friend in the business that Andrew Schnell had offered to sell him this ball python as his own. Andrew used the photos I sent of a ball python he DOES NOT own or have permission to sell!

I usually don't like to get involved in forums but I think it is necessary to say that I have absolutely no connection with Andrew Schnell.

It hasn't really been all that long, yet, but ... since his posting, on the 8th, has Andrew made contact with anyone, who he has wronged & who have not gotten their money back, to set up a plan of action for repayment?

So after all the apologies and Andrew swearing this would never happen again and he swearing his actions were driven by despiration not greed, he goes and tries to sell a bunch of people the same snake that he doesn't even own? Actions speak louder then words Andrew! And your actions show you don't care about anyone except yourself. i don't know his situation at all but from what I've seen here and on Facebook he's acting like an addict. I'm not saying he is and I have no idea if he is, just so someone doesn't take that the wrong way. I have a few friends and family members that were or are addicts and Andrews behavior matches theirs. I hope he can get his life turned around. If he's still doing the same illegal things that he swears he wouldn't I don't see him changing Unless he checks himself into intensive therapy. I just hope no one else falls for his scams!

If you look at the dates, and who has posted, earlier in thread, you will see that the only evidence we have, at this point in time, is that the "sales" occurred prior to Andrew's post on the 8th.

Casey, although you heard from your friend today, that Andrew attempted to sell that snake, to him, did your friend say when (date or time frame) that had occurred?

Andrew and I have been in communications, and the plan was to ship Igors Yate female to me (to hold until international shipping can be arranged) last week. However, the weather was brutal on my end so we delayed. I've PMd him asking for shipping this Tuesday for wed arrival, so we will see if he comes through for Igor.

He should have had plenty of money as my boss purchased his entire collection of crested geckos for 15 grand this fall. After they drove out to meet Andrew and bring the geckos home, we saw him posting some exceptional animals for sale. He kept the best to sell....

I don't know when exactly Andrew offered my snake for sale. Sometime between January 13 and yesterday. At any rate, it hasn't been that long and I do not appreciate him using me to defraud others.

I wasn't going to post, but after reading the recent comments I feel I should post this.

Ramie - When did your boss buy his crested collection? Because so did I...... I would tell your boss to get fecal tests done on the group. Although, now having heard that he got $15,000 for the group makes me think he just wanted to bail on our deal and the parasite excuse was just his way out. Let me explain.

I paid him $10,000 in April 2014, between PayPal and deposits to his bank account. It was hard to get a solid animal number from him and all I gathered was the group consisted of 16.30.9. After sending him all the money, about 2 weeks later he says he decided to get them fecal tested and they came back with parasites (coccidiosis & pinworms). So we decided he would refund my money and continue to treat them for their parasites as treatment was 6 weeks. I said fine and he promised to let me "re-buy" them once they were good to go. I never heard back about the group.

I did get the money I sent back within a week or two of him telling me about the parasites. He said he'd send me an additional $500 for my time along with Pangea diet. I did receive the Pangea diet but not the $500. I wasn't to concerned about the $500 so I never pressed the issue. I am just happy to have received my $10,000 back. Hopefully he does the right thing and returns the money or ships out everyone's animals.

I can have my boss comment on timelines. I do know that he switched out several animals and let my boss know about it after driving across the country to pick them up. Also he had a sterile red male from another breeder that was valued at $1500, that had been paired with females and never produced....Andrew was to have the replacement animal sent to my boss's addresses from the other breeder....that never happened... I know my boss had to wait to pick them up as Andrew was worming the whole collection before hand.

I have mentioned it in this thread, sent Facebook PM over the weekend, and tagged Andrew twice on his Facebook wall telling him to read his PM. No response thus far. We agreed to hold off shipping last week because of the deep freeze, and to attempt this week. Today is the day, and I can't get in touch with Andrew.

I just found this threat a few days ago and reading it really brought about a feeling of dread in me. I need to add my name to the list of Mr. Schnell’s victims. He reached out to me on 12/20/14 about making a trade for ball pythons I had up for sale for either chahoua or leachianus geckos. We negotiated a deal for a mystic spider ball python female plus $325 for a pure Type A leachie. Shipping was going to be delayed due to the combination of holidays and weather. I send him payment through paypal on 12/22/14. When I facebook messaged him to confirm that he had received payment, I didn’t hear back. I emailed him on 1/3/15 and he finally got back to me and confirmed receipt of payment. It was right around Christmas and New Years, so I wasn’t too worried at the time given how busy things can get. I attempted to negotiate a ship date the week of 1/19. He ignored my first email on 1/10 and finally responded to my email on 1/18. He said he could not ship due to his wife being in the hospital, but would keep me posted. I didn’t hear back again and sent another email on 2/7. I once again didn’t hear back. I emailed and texted him on 2/21 and did not hear back. At this point I discovered this BOI thread. I emailed him again as well as messaged him through facebook, fauna and Pangea on 2/22. I commented that I had seen this thread and hoped he would re-open communication. I also said that I would post my experiences here if he did not respond.

He hasn’t responded so here I am. Screenshots of communications are below. At this point, I would love a refund for the $325 he owes me, but I am doubtful it will happen. If a refund is not possible, I am still open to completing the trade so long as he ships first. I just wish he would re-open communication. I’m not angry nor do I harbor any malice. I’m just really disappointed. I had seen him on the forums and in different groups previously and he had seemed like an honest member of the community. So I wasn’t hesitant to make a deal with him. I just hope he makes things right with myself and everyone here.

Addendum: I’m my final message/email to him, I quoted that I had sent him $350. That was an error. It was in fact only $325. I had thought it was $350 until I reviewed my previous messages and paypal records.
