    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Excellent points, Bart! IMHO, the OP has shifted the focus (pardon the pun)away from mites in his last few posts back to shipping. I find this odd since he, admittedly, also shipped illegally and, more than once, said things to the effect of 'this is not about shipping'.

Andy, aside from his shipping issue (which he has fallen on the sword about), has appeared to be honest, level-headed, and willing to work towards a solution. I feel a bit sorry for Andy here, as I have yet to be convinced as tho the validity of the 'mite' claims.

Angel, OTOH, has made threats, name-called, and otherwise ranted like a child. I am forced to question the character of someone who behaves as Angel does; the snake video and the 'my brother is gonna ban you' things really iced the cake for me.
 
Being banned from monsters is an honor. It happens to a lot of people who dont kiss his butt. Sounds like you're puckerd up and ready to roll.

This is what will happen, I'm keeping this snake. I've started to treat his mites with a product known as jurassiMite. I will be taking him to the vet next friday as well as some of the mites I plucked off of him. That way I will have a professional's confirmation as to what they are. I will post the vets findings at that time

I'm not sure you understand what "starting to simmer" means. It means it's starting to calm down.

I am logged into Monsters, right now. Harry sent me a nice PM, earlier today, about this thread. Don't count on me being banned any time soon.

Please, post vet records and try to get decent pictures, of these mites. My guess is that Friday will roll around and nothing will be proven...just like it hasn't been proven, in this entire thread. I'm sure if you haven't already, by next Friday, you'll have found some way to fabricate another far fetched scheme, trying to prove your point...which everyone has already seen as a lie, Angel.

I'll anxiously be waiting for documentation and photographic proof.

Far fetched scheme....lol....Let me get this straight.....I traded you a snake that's worth far more than what yours is worth. Immediately after opening the box and see the mites I sent you and email about the problem. You ask for pictures of the mites.....Once again, these are mites, not horses. Do you know how hard it is to get a clear picture of a almost microscopic animal.... What is there for me to gain by lying ?????
It's not like I said hey, the snake died during shipping now send me back mine...TBH, I have nothing to gain by making up some :censored: :censored: story.
 
You wanted to trade me...not the other way around. I offered my animal, because you wanted him. This isn't about monetary gain or how much said animal was worth, etc.

I'll tell you what. I've already asked my snake be returned to me, becaue you think it to be mite infested. You have refused my MANY attempts to resolve this matter.

You take my snake to a vet and if you can provide absolute proof, that MY snake had mites, I'll cover your vet bill. I'm tired of your childishness and your name calling and your complete lack of maturity. I want clear pictures...not half assed, blurry shots, showing little square particles. I want clear pictures, of my snake, showing actual parasites on it and a vet report and like I said, I'll cover your vet bill.

I don't know what else to do. You won't send me the snake back, you continually call people immature names, threaten me, etc. We'll put the ball in your court.
 
If any could tell me how to take CLEAR pictures of an almost microscopic parasite, please tell me. As far as the vet bill, don't worry, it's coming. This will be my last post until I get the vet's report.
 
Yeah...you use something other than your busted, 1.3mp camera phone and take clear pictures, with a flash. If you don't properly know how to use an actual camera, have someone take the pics for you.

I'm gonna say it again...you provide CLEAR pictures, of MY snake, showing (without a doubt) that it has mites and then you provide us with the vet diagnosis. Don't waste your time giving me a vet bill, with the same old blurry pics you've provided so far.

Those are the only two stipulations and I'll pay for the vet visit.
 
lol, what ever Andy....Now your making demands. I tell you what this is what I'm going to do. My wife will be back from vaction this weekend, and when I take the snake to the vets next friday, I'll take a video.

You started this thread, dragging my good name through the mud. You have made false accusations against me and have refused a solution to this problem, every step of the way.

I'm being the better person by offering you monetary compensation, since you refuse to return my snake.

Everyone here has seen what a joke you are. I highly doubt that ANYONE, who has or will read this thread, will ever do business with you...God knows I wish I wouldn't have.

I'll be looking forward to the pictures and vet reports.

Okay Angel...Since we have probably gotten off track on this and this thread has gone on longer than it should...here's what I'm proposing:

-Take the Alb Tiger to a vet and get him checked out

-If it shows mites on the vet bill, I will reimburse you for the cost of the visit and medicine needed.

-If there is no sign of mites from the vet, then let's please drop this and move on.

-If you would like to have your snake back i would be more than willing to trade the snakes back, as I've already said.

I think these sum up a good possible solution to the situation and my good faith in making it right. Please let me know your thoughts.
 
its like im in a twilight zone thread, where im the only one understanding everything, and everyone else is changing and not getting it. there are real simple, almost elementary school options here to choose from. keep and treat the snake (if diagnosed with mites), or trade back the snake. this thread should have been resolved 10 pages ago. its already been admitted by andy that he has your snake in proper quarantine. do you, angel, have his snake also in proper quarantine. if both of you are honest in saying you do, then nothing bad is gonna happen if you just trade back, chalk the whole thing up to a bad experience, and move on. end this twilight zone boi episode
 
andy you posted the same time as me. i dont see anyting wrong with your proposal and it seems more than fair. angel, do your part except this offer and act accordingly, and move on, either way.
 
alright. done deal. good job guys. sometimes all life needs a little swallowed pride by each party. i thank God numerous times for giving me a big enough throat. you have to pick your battles carefully. life is too short for the little, meaningless ones. this one would fall under that category, not really worth all the time and effort that was put into this situation. reading the boi daily, this seems small potatoes compared to some of the people that post here, and are ripped off several hundred and even thousands of dollars.
just remember, pick your battles and posts, and ask yourself, can this be fairly easily resolved before coming here and/or, immdiately following, should a post be made here about someone.
just remember, eyes are everywhere on here watching, even eyes that are trying to stop this hobby/industry. bad dealings, and bad people in this hobby are being used against us to stop what we love.
