Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Ok...now that this has been revived, and on such a relevant note, too :shrug01:.

Does the agreement mean there's no video coming? I thought Angel's wife was bringing the camera home last weekend so we could see video of the hundreds and hundreds of mites.

If I had a snake TEEMING with mites, I'd probably wanna show them off......just sayin'.

But you didn't mention how the day before when you told me how scared your wife was to pick his :censored: up out the tub cause you was soaking him to try to kill the mites on him.

i was wondering when this happend? he told you he was soaking the snake to kill the mites. he told you that before he shipped it or after? i have to agree with a few of the others from the good pic it doesn't look like mites to me. i hope you guys get this settled.

Joe I was also wondering the same thing but this thread has really destroyed my thought process so I'm glad you brought it up. Angel stated in post #100 the quote above that Andy told him he was soaking the snake to get rid of the mites the day before shipping. Since there has been more than enough attacks, assumptions stated as proof, threats, and just down right childish behavior throughout this thread. I believe this is just that another scenario of creating the subtext that best supports your argument. This seems to always be the case when someone doesn't have much of an argument and usually over compensates with weak accusations rather than just provide proof and let the truth speak for itself. If that were the case this whole, "I know you are but what am I" thread would have been over with 3 years ago.

I also agree that I didn't see any snake mites anywhere. Nothing presented from what I could see was a snake mite. The blurry pictures of whatever those large dots were they definitely didn't look anything like a snake mite. I really hope you guys do settle this as stated plenty throughout this thread by several people including Andy just trade back for the love of sanity!

I just want to show Angel that it is possible to take a photo of a snake mite with this pic. I took this photo by myself while I was holding the snake at the same time. back in April I received an Amazon Tree Boa that arrived with mites. It wasn't a severe infestation when it arrived but it did have a few that were plain as day when I opened the bag. I took the pic so I could send it to the seller to make him aware that the snake had arrived with mites whether he cared or not was his issue. There were actually a couple mites behind it's eye but in the pic in looks like one larger mite. It's the dark spot behind the eye towards the bottom. I know you can't make out legs an such but at least this is a place where you find mites in the eye socket. Maybe everyone will look at my pic and not see the mites but I don't think so especially if they have ever dealt with the little :censored: before. Anyway good luck to both of you and better luck to the snakes and their health through this ordeal.

Never said I was soaking him, to remove mites. I said he was in the tub, so that he'd have a chance to have water, before being shipped. I don't keep water on my bigger snakes, 24/7, because they spill their water alot.

I was also waiting for the pics, he said he'd have, after his wife returned from vacation.

I've already said I'd pay vet bills, but I have a feeling that with the long time frame given, this snake is going to end up with mites, just to receive monetary compensation.

Either way, I just want this situation resolved and for both of us to move on. It has, unfortunately, ruined my first deal with someone other than a major breeder though.

Andy, you're such a cop out. Now you're saying that the snake might end up with mites...lol.....Did the snake that I sent you have mites ?????? NO....Because except for the albino tiger that you sent me, none of my snakes have mites. I have an appt with the vet for monday at 11:10. You will get your proof. I tried taking some pix, I used a nikon coolpix cam with 7.1 MP

Here are some pix, first will be the pix just as I took them and second will be the same pix, just zoomed in. And in a couple of the pix you can see a mite on my thumb as well as one crawling to his eye.

There's your picture proof, now on monday I will have a written vet report to back it up.

This isn't the start of another argument.

You said you'd have pics by this past weekend and there are no pics. You said you'd have the snake at the vet by thus Friday and now it's a monday appt.

Pretty much everyone has said they don't believe they're mites.

Provide me with a vet bill and I will cover it, as already said MANY times, if it was MY snake that has mites.

I thought the situation was resolved but now we're back to square one.

Dear Lord...this is going to be a never ending situation.

That isn't even my snake. The Albino Tiger I sent you wasn't nearly that big. That snakes head is MUCH larger than that of my snake.

I'm done with this, Angel.

People can do business with me, if they choose to and if not, so be it.

My wife didn't get back from florida until last night, and the herp vet is only in from monday thru thursday. So because I won't get paid until friday I had to make the appt for monday. And you know this is your snake Andy, stop being an ass and just own up to it, be a man for christ sake. This is the only albino in my little collection. I have a dwarf female, a super dwarf female, and the albino tiger you sent me

And of course his head would look bigger I have the camera really close to his face and because I'm holding him by the head, as you can see in some of the pix, his skin is spreading out. So it makes it look bigger, and don't worry I'll take a video of him when we're in the vet's office. I can also give you the number to the vet so that you can verify what days the herp doctor is in

People like you is the reason that the BOI gets a bad name. If I was happy with the transaction, why would I start this thread??? Why would I go looking to drag your name through the mud???? for giggles......I have never been a dishonest man, never was rasied that way.

It's the same snake.

Check the scale shape, count etc on the right side of the head from Andy's photo.
AW2E0D.jpg

Granted Photobucket resized the bloody thing smaller then what I screen shotted it at but to me it's noticeable.

One thing I have to say is that while I understand you're trying to prove a point Angel why in hades would you allow that poor snake to live with mites this long??? From the look of the current photos yes it look like it has them and bad.

And fresh water should ALWAYS be available to any reptile! How hard is it to go spend $2 at a pet store to buy a large no tip dog water bowl???????

If that's my snake, Christine, it must have had a substantial growth spurt, while in Angels care. Angel and I both have already stated the pic you have shown was the snake, in my care, within the first few days. When I shipped that snake to Angel, it had been in my care for more than a year. Not a single one of my 19 snakes have mites.

How I keep my animals is not the issue, in this situation. How I decide to water my animals is nothing new and my choice. None of my animals are unhealthy, have mites and none of them have health issues because of my watering habits.

I don't believe any of this nonsense, for one second and more than half of the people on this thread also agreed that it didn't look like mites.

I'm to the point now where I'd pay your vet bill AND pay for my snake to be shipped back to me.

You may say that you've never been dishonest, Angel but quite a bit of this thread has been people calling your character into question and you've repeatedly shown what type of person you are.

So, here we ago again, with the attacks, when this was supposed to have already been resolved.

Tails unlike Andy, I care for this animal. Since I recieved him I've been treating him with a product know as jurassimite and I've been treating his cage with equate mite bedding spray. It has really been working and they all really seem to be congregating around his head. Andy, noone here has called my character into question, if I recall everyone was asking for better definitive pictures of the mites. The only person who was being a :censored: was Crypt keeper because he has personal problems with me because I called him out on trying to sell a snake 5 days after "rescuing" him. And for the "people" who didn't really think they were mites, after they see my pix, I'm preety sure that they will change their minds. I took the exact same pix that chazzz took of his ATB that had mites. Andy, even at the start of this thread I never asked you for anything. I didn't demand that you pay me X amount of dollars to fix this. At the start I simply stated that I wanted to see how you would handle this. A simple apology would have made you right in my book, at least you would have keep some dignity. But you can't even do that, I would've respected you more as a man if you did. Until this, we were cool. I didn't freak out and come on here and call you a scammer when you didn't ship the snake out to me when you were supposed to, did I......NO...why??? Because you told me that you had some personal problems and that you had to use the money for that. I understood where you were coming from and I felt for you. I shipped my snake out to you first and you didn't ship out for almost 2 and a half weeks later......I trusted you, and this is how you repay my trust, by trying to make others believe that I'm lying about your :censored: up....real sad man

And tails, I'm really glad that you posted that pic.......Because I've never seen it that close up.....Look in that snake's eye socket and tell me what you think that looks like.......To me, it looks like a mite infestation on the rise:shrug01:

im not saying you did or didn't say it, i just wanted to ask when it was.

angel when was it before he shipped or after?

Andy told me the day before he shipped that he was soaking the snake because he didn't want the snake to be dehydrated during shipping. I have never heard of anyone doing this so I just put 2 and 2 together.
