• Responding to email notices you receive.

In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Andy Jones, The Pied Python BEWARE

I'm sorry in post one you say the rep told you it was a bogus address, still confused.

Okay, so we have this:
Reason Delivery Not Completed Recommended Action
1. Incorrect Address Contact us at
https://www.fedex.com/insight/info/contactus.jsp
to provide correct delivery address and/or
additional delivery information.

Do we have verification you sent it to the address you were supposed to? I mean, no dyslexic typo or anything? I can't see him giving the wrong address. I think it was a lucky accident.

I have a question why is it his error. The info he gave you is a deliverable address, I googled it post #1 and google earth and gps since post one. So it is a dleiverable address, was no one there to receive package???? I'm a tad confused, by the whole address thing.

There are several things that make an address undeliverable. It is possible that the address doesn't accept shipments.there is a fence/gate with no call box.

If it is an address that does exist, then only Fed-Ex can answer the question as to why the package was undeliverable.

OP, I do hope your snakes make it back no worse for wear. Have you had any more contact from Andy? Have you sent him a link to this thread?

Do we have verification you sent it to the address you were supposed to?

That is a very interesting thought and would explain a lot. If the package was (intentionally or unintentionally) mis addressed by the OP, it could not be delivered and of course the recipient would be upset when he found that it was not delivered.
The OP said Debbie herself from Reptile Express called Fedex so I'm thinking the Fedex people looked closely at the address on the package itself.

Maybe the seller was using a wonky address so the buyer wouldn't have the correct one? Maybe he also planned on showing up at the hub and claiming how that silly shipper sent it to the wrong address and he would just pick it up? Maybe he tried to get it put on hold at the hub before it went to the bogus address? Maybe Andy is a hermit that lives in a burned out van in abandoned lot and the driver never thought to knock on the van door? Maybe I should stop typing?

Government conspiracy? I think so!

There appears to be a good address to a company that has that address, and yet the package was not delivered there.
Are you implying that ideas as to the non delivery should not be voiced or are you implying that my idea that the address on the package itself might have been somehow not correct is too far fetched?

Here is the e-mail sent ot me by Andy giving me the shipping address:

Okay...everything looks good to me! I will be out of town all day Monday. Do you want to ship on Tuesday for Wednesday arrival? I figure we can both ship out Tuesday. I'll drop yours off at the FedEx hub located in Tyler, Texas. Once dropped off you will receive an email with the FedEx tracking number.
I would expect the same in return. Temps here are quite pleasant. Lows in the 60's with the high today of 88. According to my phone, the high here Wednesday is supposed to be 90 degrees that afternoon.

My ship to address is as follows:

Andy Jones
c/o TMS Delivery
11140 Hwy. 64 E
Tyler, Texas 75605

This is my work address and my wife will be there. I won't probably. She's the accountant for the company. I have had numerous delivers made here.

I will need a ship to address for you. And a phone # for FedEx.

Thanks!
Andy

Why not give the place a Call OP? Ask for Mrs. Jones? Ask her why maybe the package could not be delivered, and if husband would kindly call you back. Nothing else. Short, simple, polite. As frustrating as it is.

According to FB his wife's name is Susan Fleming. It also appears that she works there.

Actually most of my ideas were the far fetched ones. Also I haven't been having a pleasant week and am quite tired so my brain is stuck somewhere between neutral and the transmission falling out. So it wasn't a dig at anyone and sorry if it was offensive.

I worked at DHL when I went to collage. We had a guy ship a package in from oversees. The receiver put a hold at the hub then came in and picked it up. He then opened a dispute that he never got the package. The a dress he gave was not his. The shipper was quite perturbed and became very irate. It ended up they were smuggling khat ( it a drug that is used like chewing tobacco).

I said that to say I feel this guy (Andy) may have given a different address in hopes of getting the shipment stopped so he could pick it up at the hub. That way the shipper wouldn't have an actual address for him. this would put the shipped in quite a quandary.

This is from the Pied Python's website:
The easiest way for you to reach us is by email. You can contact us at [email protected].. We are reachable by phone from 07:00am to 07:00pm CST. We WILL answer all your emails and calls as time permits!

Most of the communication I had with the seller before the trade came from this e-mail address so I am pretty sure I was dealing with the real Andy Jones.
