Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Angel O'neil (qegalpal)

Wow Deb I am so sorry, this just seems like a nightmare!!
I understand you wanting to know for sure that snake doesn't have IBD, I'm just not sure that is possible. Especially given how the seller has treated the issue thus far, suggesting it was your responsibility to ask if the snake had any genetic defects. Which by the way is the worst customer service I have seen.

I am unable to play videos on my computer at the moment so I was unable to watch it. I actually saw the first 15 seconds maybe then it cuts out on me. So I can't offer any advice to what I think it is but from the sound of things it can be many different possibilities. Being exposed to extreme heat can cause stargazing, poisoning like treating for mites can also cause these syptoms. The truth of the matter is there is no way that seller can tell you for certain that snake doesn't have IBD and I don't think you can know for certain without a biopsy. I know there are tests that can be performed on a live snake but that will only tell you if the snake has IBD it can't with 100% certainty tell you that it doesn't. Unless this snake has had the wobble since birth you really are in the dark and have little options. I guess heat can be ruled out if the seller was aware of the wobble so it wasn't something that occurred during shipping. What is going to make a difference is how long did the seller own this snake and how long has this wobble or stargazing been apparent. I am just not sure I would trust anything this seller said by their response to you about this issue. It's a real tough situation Deb and I hope it somehow gets better for you or at least doesn't get any worse.

Thank you.

Ok, like I said, I don't play games when it comes to my animals and their health (I may be being paranoid, but my paranoidness has prevented me from having to deal with mite infestations and illnesses so far). She is not responding. She knows of the thread.

I am very sorry. More sorry than anyone will ever know, but I am culling the animal tonight :( and will do a vid afterwards so that it can be verified. Then my collection is locked down, no animals enter and none leave for the rest of the month (this is SO inconvenient..but necessary). I am very glad that I was able to send out the shipments I did, before this animal touched my property!

Cull it??? It is a serious heavy wobble spider!!! Hasn't anybody seen this before?? You are acting way paranoid now!! IMO... Take it to the vet deb??

Since I do not live on this sight and just woke up, I will FINALLY respond.
I am not a breeder (I have almost all male visual morphs) and had no idea that the wobble was going to be a problem.
I DO have 2 spiders and he most certainly looks nothing like them.
As stated in my response, I was thinking about a refund (because I was going to bed) but you had to go ahead and respond with a BOI, but I guess patience it not your strong suite and the shipping thing was all on you for not supplying the correct address and yet again having a fit about it.
when I first woke up I remitted a refund, but after reading the BOI thread I'm not sure I can save what little rep I had on this sight, or any other sight for that matter. patience lady, patience, give a person a minute to react for crying out loud, BEFORE you drag them through the mud for being an amateur, but I'm sure you will have yet another fit about the amount,
se la ve.

You did this to your reputation not Deb. Had you disclosed the wobble like any honest person would have done this would never have been brought to the BOI. It is here now and how it effects your reputation further is entirely to you. You can either salvage what has happened or act like an amateur and crash and burn. Your choice. C'est la vie.

BTW, your FULL NAME is required to post on the BOI.

Angel,

IMHO it's not the fact that you have a "Bad Guy" thread on the BOI that makes you a Bad Guy; it's how you respond to said "Bad Guy" thread.

I don't think you responded to this one very well... :shootfoot

Way to try and "save what little rep you had on this site"

Really, you didn't know that the wobble was going to be a PROBLEM? The bloody thing hangs with it's head upside down! TBH, I would absolutely have a fit with you as well.

I'm not a huge woma/ball person...but I have a little experience and to me that snake looks like a spider.

I totally agree with Deborah's decision to cull the animal if she goes through with it.

Take it to the Vet, for WHAT?? If it's a wobble, a Vet can't help, and if it's IBD then I will only have spread the contagion by taking it around and in my CAR no less (I transport my own animals in my car).

I can ship it to you? You verify that this is a "seriously wobbling spider?" I have never seen a wobbling spider and I do not have any in my collection. You are correct that I am paranoid about IBD. I fully admit it.

I'll pay for shipping and ship it to YOU, or Angel can pay for shipping to her. It is NOT staying here. That's how paranoid I am. :shrug01:

I had no idea I was suppose to mention the wobble. I had never noticed it until someone asked about it in another thread and I took him out for observation,
not knowing it was genetic, I thought nothing of it.

There ya have it folks.

Ignorance is bliss, I guess.

Well now that you know, are you going to refund Deb and take the animal back? :shrug01:

call me whatever you'd like, I did not breed him, he was put into a group I bought as a "bonus", gee what a BONUS!
Had I known it was a MAJOR thing I would never have sold him, but I did not INTENTIONALLY mean any harm in selling him to her.

Neither do I LIVE on this site. However, because I value my customer service, I am on here quite a bit in case there's something I need to address!

I actually gave this a few days to see if the animal would straighten out (my nerves can't take a week). I was actually sick when I thought it was dead when I went to check on it one day. I have been stressed out since the animal has touched my property. I fully accept the responsiblity of not providing my business address; that is not the issue.

To tell the truth, this thread wasn't actually about the refund, but your ethics of thinking that it's OK to ship out an animal in this condition without disclosing the condition beforehand.

No, I have no patience when I am confronted with an animal like this and spoken to as if I were an idiot.

if you can read, a refund was already given.

See, those kind of smart remarks are what I have no patience with. You were sly, and you are covering it up now...that's fine.

Do you want the animal back? Pm me your address if you do. I guarantee that I am going to cull it if you do not want it, I don't trust you or this situation. :(

smart remarks? I'm the one being called all sorts of things.
sly? how so? for issuing a refund?
what exactly am I covering up? the fact that I'm an amateur? no, not at all, I was called ignorant for that one, thank you
and I NEVER spoke down to you.
please go ahead and cull him.
you can't trust me? I can't trust anyone either.

Yeah, sorry...but womas don't wobble. I breed womas. I also have spiders. Pretty darned easy to tell the difference.

I am soooo hoping that she takes him back, I was looking at your ad and I want the first one (clean pattern).:)

They seem certain it's a wobble, and I am going to either cull it or ship it back to her (her choice).

I am sorry if I seem cruel, but I don't do wobble.:shrug01: and I certainly am not going to sell it or keep it.

Angel, you brought it on yourself, really.

You NEVER asked about a wobble or I would have told you he has one. some womas have wobbles, some don't, he was NOT mis-represented in the least.
a refund? I'll think about it.

The ethics of thinking that someone has to ASK about defects in an animal before purchasing it. The ethics of thinking that because someone didn't ASK then the animal was not misrepresented.

If that's what you believe, you need to stop selling.

The last,
"a refund?" I'll think about it"
didn't come off as wanting to work it out since you had already claimed that the animal was not misrepresented and that it was my fault for not asking about the defect (I considered this "speaking down to me".

Thank you for the refund.

As a matter of fact, someone had already inquired about any problems with wobble in the snake and Angel had responded that there was NOT.
When I saw the photos she posted, it was pretty clear that the snake was unnaturally contorting and probably had a problem.

Glad you got your refund, Deborah - and a damn shame another beautiful animal has to suffer.

Angel, good that you refunded Deborah. Honesty and integrity are what define a person - keep that in mind. It will serve you as a seller AND a buyer.
