In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Yesterday (1/23/08) Angelo Corsi posted an ad on KS for a 2005 Sharp Strain Female Het. for Stripe Het. for Anery Boa. His asking price was $2500.00. It took less than an hour for people to see something was wrong with his ad. At first I just glanced over it, but the name sounded very familiar. So I went through my old records and realized that I had sold Angelo a KAHL strain Albino back in '06.

So I went through my old photographs of the boa I sold him and the pictures he posted on his ad, and they are 100% the same animal (I'll post pics in a minute). When I sold Angelo the Kahl strain, he was VERY well aware that it was JUST a Kahl strain and nothing more. He only paid $950 shipped for it, and there is no way I would have ever let a Sharp Strain Het. for Anery Het. for Stripe go for $950. And he knows that.

Now 16 months after I sold it to Angelo, he is trying to pass this Kahl Strain Albino off as a Sharp het. for EVERYTHING. He is also stating that is was produced by Ian G. when I purchased it originally from Mike Wilbanks. Ian G. had nothing to do with this animal.

What really frustrates me is that his KS ad says that the boa has already been sold. So some unsuspecting victim out there has just purchased a $950 Kahl Strain Albino for $2500. And by the time they breed it to a Sharp Strain, Angelo will be long gone!

I have already contacted Angelo and his response was that he was getting out of snakes all together. So I'm guessing he doesn't care what happens to his reputation once the animals are sold. If you know who bought this boa please direct them to this thread and let them know that Angelo is running a scam and he should be avoided at all cost.

Now for the proof:

These are the pics from Angelo's Ad:

And these are some of my old photos of the Kahl Strain Albino I sold to him:

And this is the original photograph from Mike Wilbanks when I purchased her from him:

He has already removed all of his ads from KS, but I have a screen shot saved on my PC. Not sure how to post it though. If you would like to see his original ad shoot me a PM and I'll send it to you.

And I will be making Angelo aware of this thread as soon as I post it!

Thanks,

Jason Gonzalez

Its tough to compare the snake he is selling to the one you sold him. The pics aren't ideal, and it seems the snake has grown considerably. Are there particular markings you can highlight that are unmistakeable?

...Also, just because he is selling an albino boa a year and a half after you sold him an albino boa doesn't mean its the same snake. If the guy is into albino redtails perhaps he had several in addition to the one he bought from you.

Are you positive its the same snake that you sold him? I really cant tell from the pics...

I saw the specific markings. You didn't?
What do you think those tail shots were about?
I believe it is the same snake.

I thought I did highlight the saddles, but here they are again. Look at the tail saddles I cropped out in these two pics:

I am 1000% certain it is the same snake I sold Angelo 16 months ago.

.

I AGREE this is the same snake, thank you for making this posting as I was considering several of the balls he had listed.

This is a bit disturbing for me, for two reasons. A few years back, I purchased two female 100% Het Sharp Stain Boas, for around $1500 or so. Soon after the purchase, I decided to stay with breeding Balls and not build up my Boa collection, and traded the two females away. Doing the quick math, the females probably bred this year or last??? or maybe will go this year. I hope those prove out, or I will be sending someone some free Ball Morphs....to make up for someone else's "mistake."

I actually did another trade with Angelo, and still have the snake, a Pastel YB male. Everything went well, and I had no doubt about Angelo being one of the good guys. Now, I know things happen, and I know money (or lack of money) makes people do things they normally would not do. I hope Angelo has a good excuse, or reply.

Joel, you may want to make Mike Wilbanks and Ian G. aware of this thread.

Good Idea. But I've never heard of Ian G. before this so I don't have his email. Maybe someone here can get in touch with him. I'll notify Mike Wilbanks.

Not that it matters but I go by Jason. ;)

Worse then ball python breeders..

What a f**king witch hunt!! Not that I need to explain my self to any one. Its because you have lot of time on your hands and this site lets anyone post anything.. Here goes!! It is not the snake I got From Jason that snake was gone 2 weeks after I got it.. This animal was sold/traded for some high end balls.. The info that I had on it was from the person I got it from.. Hence the reason it was priced 3-4 times lower then it would be with paper work.. The person that bought it knows the original owner and was well aware of what the animal might of might not be.. So as far as FU**in Nancey Drews' investigating which we all appreciate keep the boa world honest and all GOOD JOB!!!..
This has gotten me band from king snake not that I give a shit as I just sold my entire collection.. But again this type of shit is why I need to get away from this hobby.. There are to many people with too much time on their hands.
Thanks to all the voices of reason and to all the witch hunters I hope you all slip and fall in a big pile of aids!!

Hey Angelo

I recently changed computers, from a desktop to laptop, and most of my Emails and Herp related stuff is on the other computer-which has a virus. My recollection is that you and I did two deals. One, I know for sure is that we did a trade involving a Mojave Poss Het Hypo and a Pastel YB. The snake I got from you is doing fine. I am 99% sure I got my two Het Sharp Boas from you. I traded them away long ago. When this thread got started, it rang a bell, and since I do not have the Het Sharps any longer, I was hoping that there was just a big misunderstanding involved here, with the Sharp Boa. There is a chance that the Sharps came from someone else, but like I said, I THOUGHT they came from you. I also stated that the deal(s) I had with you were fine, and I was hoping it was a big mistake, you and the pics posted here. I can look up where I got the Sharps, just do not like using the computer that I know has a virus.

By the way, your response leaves a lot to be desired...probably good you are getting out of the hobby.

Dave

Angelo,

You know as well as I do that that is the Boa I sold you a year ago. Deny all you want, but the pics don't lie.

And you said you acquired it from Ian G. Will Ian come here and corroborate your story? That he sold you a Sharp Strain Albino Het. for Anery Het. for Stripe? If so, I would love to know who produced this litter and when.

And one other thing I didn't quite understand.

This animal was sold/traded for some high end balls..

If you're getting out of the Hobby, then why do a trade for more animals?

David,
You are defiantly mistaken!! I never sold a het boa in my life!! as for the ball deal I do remember that... and it was a smooth transaction.. Sorry you didn't like my responce and in hind sight should have stated that I did not have paper work for her proving her genetics but on the other hand I never said that I was standing behind them either..

I remember our ball deal, you were very diligent about info on the animals genetics where you no?? So tell me if you were going to buy her and spend the money would you not want paper work and some sort of proof of her genetics?? I don't have that so all I can do is pass on the info I got with the animal. That is not Fraud!!
Fraud is representing some thing it is not all I did was post an animal for sale and passed on the info that was given to me when I got her.. This whole covert action was a bit extream I think but when people go this far my oppinion and explanation means nothing!!

Angelo

After you look at the photographic EVIDENCE posted earlier in this thread, How do you explain the identical saddle markings?

OK, the Het Sharp's must have come from someone else.

Our Ball deal went flawlessly, as far as I was concerned.

"....I never said that I was standing behind them either...." Angelo, if you post an ad stating het this or het that, it is assumed that you are standing behind your claim. If you are not satisfied with the facts behind the genetics, and have decided to sell the animal, sell it as a Possible Het????

Angelo, You were NOT passing on the info that was given to you. I told you EXACTLY what the genetics on that Albino were and you flat out LIED when trying to sell her.
